St Nicholas Park Hotel

The hotel itself is in a great location. Close to the markets, shops and restaurants/bars. A taxi to the town is only 250 Lira (be aware that the taxi drivers tend to only take Lira). The walk to the town is steep hills and wonky pavements so not great for those with mobility issues - in this case I’d recommend a taxi each way. The atmosphere is ok. Generally very calm and relaxed. The entertainment and amenities staff walk around throughout the day saying hello, they are very friendly. There is a bit of a clique-iness with regular guests and there were several occasions where you would be bypassed in favour of the regular guests. For example, when the evening bingo was on, we were walked straight past multiple times without being offered to join - despite multiple attempts to request tickets. The daytime entertainment is repetitive and nothing for children. The entertainment is a rotation of darts and pool tournaments and then daily water gym. The water gym is enjoyable. The evening entertainment was ok. Some acts were amazing, others were very disappointing. There are only 3 entertainment staff which I feel is why there is not much on offer. The pools are lovely and clean - although often cold! There is a lovely gentleman who regularly cleans around the pool. The bar staff also collect the empty glasses throughout the day. The sun loungers are extremely uncomfortable and some are broken. When moved away, they are just placed back. The spa is amazing. The highlight of our stay. We had a package and had a great time. The price was very reasonable and the staff were so friendly and attentive. The spa is also very clean. The food was the real let down. Not much choice, cold and often uncovered so lots of flies and hornets. The food itself would stop me from returning. The main restaurant and snack bar is clean. The food in all areas was subpar and I can honestly say there was not any meal we particularly enjoyed. The bar staff are lovely and attentive. There is a decent selection of drinks and cocktails - although no branded spirits. The soft drinks were often flat. The rooms were very basic. Bed and bedding was not particularly comfortable but they were ok. It was clean enough but not great. Daily cleaning consisted of towels being put up and the bed being made. Floor was not swept and not much cleaning happened that we could tell. But I imagine that is because they do not have enough time. The bathroom could do with updating. The towel rail and grab rail in the bathroom came off the wall.
The balcony is ok. There was 2 balconies on our room but the doors to the larger balcony were locked, so you could only access the small balcony. There is an onsite shop which is ok, but very expensive - although they do say convenience costs! Views are phenomenal. I would not choose to book here again at the standard it is at. We booked as part of a family so it was not our choice of hotel. It was ok - but not worth any more than 3 stars in our opinion.

Perfect location, 5 minute walk from the strip but away from all the noise, staff are amazing couldn’t do anymore for you, food is brilliant especially for an all inclusive there’s something you could have everyday different. The room was beautiful honestly the hotel is one of the best.
