Lovely holiday
We had a lovely holiday at Sunshine Holiday Resort with my mum and really enjoyed our stay. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, the staff were helpful, and there was always something going on to keep everyone entertained.
A special mention has to go to Garfield, the entertainer! He was fantastic and really helped make our holiday special. He was friendly,
We had a great time and would happily come back again. Thank you to everyone at Sunshine Holiday Resort for making our holiday so enjoyable. ❤️

Avoid - TUI wont refund you when it all goes wrong at this hotel, and it will!
You'd be mental to go here, if you took out the hotel being on fire, no electric or running water for 16 hours, running water down walls onto beds and electrics, mass brawl in the dining area, a pool that was so cloudy that if a child fell in you wouldn't see them at the bottom. Apart from that, its ok....
Awful experience - Hotel responses are full of lies
Absolutely awful experience.
Just to make people aware - I would like to point out that all the responses provided by this hotel to guests regarding the fire are full of lies. The incident was handled appallingly and I am astounded now to see the hotel blatantly lying when guests leave a bad review. All the reviews regarding the fire are accurate and reflect our experience unlike the lies posted by the hotel.
"The power cut issue was resolved very quickly" LIE - The truth is guests were left without electricity and any running water between 1:30am and 6:00pm the following day. From 9am the morning after the fire the reception repeatedly told us power would be restored in "two hours" when it ended up being over 16 hours. This meant that we were without basic facilities including: • Running water. • Functioning toilet flushing. • Electricity. • Normal access to hotel facilities. This was absolutely disgusting and unsanitory. Staff did nothing to reassure guests - a lot of shrugging of shoulders and false promises. The disgusting smell lack of basic facilities and uncertainty obviously had a huge impact on our holiday.
"In accordance with our safety procedures a 10 minute evacuation was carried out for safety reasons" LIE - There was no evacuation or any hotel led safety procedures. The external fire alarms went off quietly but we were only woken by other guests banging our door and shouting fire. At that point we could see and smell the smoke from the "apparently small" fire. Our room was actually very close to it. We evacuated ourselves, no staff in sight. When we did see them 20 minutes into the "10 minute" evacuation they were standing around talking amongst themselves. My husband asked the entertainment manager to tell guests what was happening and reassure them as no one had a clue. That was the only reason a statement was even made to guests. We were not outside for 10 minutes, it was closer to an hour! 10 minutes is a complete LIE! The hotel are absolutely shameless trying to play down the incident and undermine guests' true experiences.
In addition to the incident, I would never recommend the hotel. Food was not nice, cereal crawling with flies. If you value a kids club don't bother as it's more like a creche in a dark shed. Rooms are shoddy and need an upgrade.
Obvioudly the hotel don't value guests who paid to stay at their hotel as they are happy to argue and lie when people document their genuine experiences. Go ahead and copy and paste your false response Sunshine Hotel. 🌞
Great holiday
We had a wonderful stay at Sunshine Holiday Resort! The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our time there. Everything was well organised, and the resort was a great place to relax and enjoy our holiday.
A special mention to Garfield, our animation man, who was absolutely fantastic! He was so friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. His positive attitude and great service really added to our experience.
Thank you to everyone at Sunshine Holiday Resort for a memorable holiday. We would happily come back again! ☀️🌴

Great time in Turkey
This was our first time in Turkey and in the Sunshine holiday resort. There was 5 of us and we stayed for 7 nights and we were all very happy with the hotel. The food and drinks were nice and the rooms comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to the entertainer, Garfield, who went out of his way to ensure we and everyone had a great time. Happy to help and nothing was to much trouble.
