Brogan izzy and micky made our holiday
We had a really lovely stay at Blue Bay Platinum and would definitely return. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are stunning and the entertainment was one of the best parts of the holiday. Izzy, Brogan and Micky from the entertainment team absolutely deserve a raise because they were amazing and really made our stay. Izzy is such a talented singer, Brogan is an amazing dancer and Micky is okay at darts I guess 😂 The cocktails were really good and the iced coffee with added Baileys was perfect. The food was a bit hit and miss and could definitely be better, but we always managed to find something we could eat so it did not spoil the holiday for us. It would also be nice to have ice cream available at dinner for dessert. The hotel app is really useful too, especially if you need any extra amenities or anything for your room. The only other thing we would suggest is another bar closer to the entertainment area as it is a bit of a trek going back and forth for drinks during the evening. Overall we had an amazing holiday, the hotel was beautiful, the rooms were lovely, the entertainment was brilliant and we would happily come back again.
Not 5 star, and food was poor!
Just come back from 2 weeks at this hotel, not sure where the five stars come from, we were told we were being upgraded to a suite room/sea view room instead of just a sea view room, not sure if it was an up grade really just a a corner sofa! Room is in need of a refresh, we had a thunder storm when we were there, with heavy rain the rear of the room is just glass and the rain poured in!! Saw some maintenance men on the landing, and all they said was 'oh!', cleaning wasn't great either, spilt some coke on the first week still there when we left! if i had a cloth would of done it my self but only had the towels, and I didn't want to use them!! The worst part about the hotel, which I know most people complain about on these reviews, was the food, but everyone we spoke to said the same thing it was just 'COLD' and by the most part just bland!! Snack bar was just a bit better, but not much! Staff Ok didn't interact much two of the girls in side bar were the best , so thanks Ozlem, and her colleague, whose name I never did get! she didn't speak much English but what she did say was hilarious!!

Blue Bay experience
The location of the hotel is fantastic it is central easy access to bard and shops, even when you leave the hotel at the back you can walk up to the beach which you have plenty more bars. The atmosphere was good, evening entertainment not the best some off the shows aren't the best, staff are helpful and always cleaning. Our room was nice we overlooked the kids slides and located by the adults pool, cleaned every day spotless, clean towels and water. Value I found the food repetitive at times don't get me wrong they cater for all, be nice to see theme nights for example, mexican night, Italian night and maybe once a week do a full English breakfast, the breakfast at the hotel isn't the best we went a few times same for an evening meal. Overall nice hotel, the adult pool was fantastic and the member of staff serving you would always come round and ask if you would like another drink very nice touch, the ice creams are really good, we had a good 10 night holiday.
Brilliant hotel and brilliant staff.
The facilities are very good, with a choice of 3 pools. We choose to sit at the adult pool, which is facilitated by Alex (the barman). Alex is absolutely wonderful, he is extremely tentative, chatty, kind and makes sure your glass is never empty.
The entertainment programme is superb, with a variety of activities for everyone. The staff are exceptionally good at their job and you can see that they want every guest to have a fabulous time. Each team member adds something different to a well rounded team, with Izzy’s outstanding voice, Summer/Loz/Brogan’s wealth of dancing ability, Mikey’s cheeky chap persona, Mehmet’s remarkable longevity and football scratch cards and Jeren/Sedat’s managerial guidance. During our time at the blue bay we interacted with all members of the entertainment team and we could not pick out a single fault. Brogan and Mikey are particularly brilliant as they are always up for a good time, have a smile on their faces and can push you out of your comfort zone in a good way. The whole team genuinely made our holiday one to remember and throughly more enjoyable than previous years at the blue bay.

In a nutshell:
Rooms- exceptionally clean, so much effort by the cleaners who are so friendly.
Entertainment- lots to do day and night , some shows very good however music is unnecessarily loud!
Reception- friendly, approachable and very welcoming including someone to take your bags on arrival. Bar staff in reception friendly.
Restaurant- plenty to choose from but does get a bit boring.
Pools/pool bar: pools are nice, plenty of sunbeds , aside from unnecessary guests reserving at 5:30am (seen as was awake) staff will always find you a sunbed. Pool staff work hard but pool bar staff are grumpy.
Location- amazing, cross the road to the beach and promenade and out the front is numerous shops, bars and restaurants. Be prepared for people to encourage you in places. Also on site is a spa which was phenomenal and tattoo parlour which we made use of.
Overall great hotel, we never return to the same one but if we did we would happily come here. Thank you for having us
