Myself and Mark came here for the first time and, honestly, from arriving in the early hours we were made to feel so welcome by the whole team.
We woke up the next morning and genuinely felt like we'd woken up in paradise. It was so peaceful and relaxing straight away — exactly what we'd hoped for.
The food 🍴
We went all-inclusive and it was absolutely the best decision.
There was so much choice and everything we ate was brilliant. I'm now slightly worried I've set the bar too high and need to seriously step up my cooking game when we get home to keep Mark quiet! 😂
The drinks were also fantastic, with loads of choice, and everything we had was great.
The team 🍹
Honestly, the staff are what make this place so special.
Every single person we met was friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. They made Mark a fantastic cocktail for his birthday and made such a fuss of us throughout our stay.
They even helped Mark learn some Turkish! They were so lovely that they printed out Turkish words for us, including how to pronounce them, so he could practise each evening. They were genuinely delighted whenever he tried — which made it really fun.
The atmosphere
This is probably what we loved most.
It's incredibly calm and relaxed, but never boring.
You can spend the day doing as much or as little as you like. There's a DJ playing great tunes in the late afternoon which gets your foot tapping, then things naturally start to quieten down around 9–10pm.
You can sit outside with a glass of wine, chat to other guests on the sofas and just completely switch off.
It has a really lovely "we're all here together" feeling. We met so many lovely people during our stay, and everyone seemed to be there for the same reason — to relax, enjoy themselves and escape for a while.
Cinema on the beach 🎬
Cinema nights on the beach were just stunning.
Everyone sitting around together with popcorn and a glass of wine, watching a film under the stars… it felt so cosy and special.
It's one of those things you don't realise you'll love until you're actually there.
And then… THE DUCKS! 🦆❤️
Now this deserves its own section!
There are 21 ducks wandering around the resort, going in and out of the sea, and for me — as a huge animal lover — they were honestly one of the highlights.
They are incredibly friendly and became part of our daily entertainment.
I spent the whole 10 days trying to convince Mark that we absolutely needed to take a couple home.
The answer was still no. 😂
Along with the ducks, there are also some gorgeous, very friendly cats around the resort — so if you're an animal lover, you will be in heaven.
Activities & things to do
There is so much choice.
The team are brilliant at giving advice and encouragement, particularly if you're trying something for the first time.
Everything is shown on the app, so you can simply see what's happening and pick what you fancy — from yoga and sound baths to paddleboarding and other water activities.
Or you can quite happily do absolutely nothing!
That's what makes it work so well.
The location 🌴
The location is simply stunning.
It's tucked away, peaceful and feels like you've discovered somewhere really special.
The views are WOW.
I've used the word "wow" far too many times during this review, but honestly, I don't know what else to call them!
It's beautiful without feeling overly polished or commercial, which is exactly what we loved.
The rooms
Our room was lovely and really comfortable.
I slept like a baby every night — which tells you everything!
After days in the sunshine, swimming, eating, drinking, chatting and generally doing very little, we'd head to bed and wake up feeling completely refreshed.
And it's not just for couples
One thing I really noticed while we were there was how well the hotel works for different types of travellers.
There were people travelling alone who had come to completely switch off and get away from everything, and there was a really welcoming atmosphere around everyone.
If you need to work while you're away, there is also a fantastic office/work space, as well as a TV room, so you can actually combine working with getting away somewhere beautiful.
You don't feel like you're surrounded by people who are all doing the same thing — everyone can make the holiday what they want it to be.
Overall ❤️
We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better holiday.
The location, food, drinks, activities, atmosphere and — most importantly — the people made it incredibly special.
It felt less like staying in a traditional hotel and more like discovering a little community where everyone is there to relax, have fun and enjoy the surroundings.
We came for the first time, completely switched off, made some lovely friends, celebrated Mark's birthday and left feeling genuinely sad to go.
We absolutely loved it and will 100% be back.
If you're looking for somewhere beautiful, peaceful and relaxed where you can do as much or as little as you like, eat brilliantly, meet lovely people and completely escape for a while…
Book it. You won't regret it. ❤️

A beautiful Mediterranean oasis
A simply unforgettable place to visit, located out on a peninsula this quiet oasis sits right on the Med. Next to a marina, full of fabulous sail boats and leisure cruisers, you feel in the lap of luxury. The staff are wonderful, very helpful and friendly without exception. The rooms are spacious (could do with more storage), and have a nice balcony. The restaurant is fantastic, 8 food stations where you order what you like and they make it fresh, so much better than a buffet. They have movie night on the beach a few times a week, which is very immersive. Lots of water sports if that’s your thing, a 20 minute water taxi across the bay to Marmaris for when you need something more lively. We also got a ferry to Rhodes from Marmaris - all very easy. The pool is gorgeous, no fighting for sunbeds and a nice shaded area if you need it. You can also swim in the sea from the private beach. Would highly recommend, and would recommend also the all day boat trip which you can book at reception. You visit gorgeous bays, swim and enjoy a bbq.

Friends & I have just returned from the most wonderful, sumptuous 7 nights stay at the Idyllic Cook's Club Adakoy. Walking from our beautifully designed accommodation to our first breakfast, we felt like we had walked onto a film set, having arrived in darkness the previous evening. The accommodation has been designed to feel like a village set on a hillside, with incredible banana palms, olive trees & bougainvillea softening the pathways around the buildings.
Around the large pool & beyond you have easy access to so many different relaxing loungers and seating options along with loungers at the sea's edge. You get to share this area with the joyful gaggle of 'Sea' ducks, as friendly as the resort's staff.
The biggest 'Thank You' to all the Hotel staff, who made us feel so welcome and relaxed, from the bar staff, restaurant staff and housekeeping. The Neilson staff were also so friendly, professional and great at their work.

My partner and I have just returned from a week at Cooks club. We were blown away with how idillic and peaceful this hotel is.
Location- It is quite far out from marmaris and a 2 hour transfer from Dalaman airport which is not a pleasant journey but it was most definitely worth it when we arrived and saw the setting. You genuinely feel like you are on a private island - it is phenomenal. Water taxis run regularly into marmaris if you want to visit the town which are 12 euros pp each way and takes 20 min. Brilliant alternative to a taxi. Alternatively the hotel is very helpful with ordering taxis, which is around 20 euros.
Room- our room was spacious however potentially lacking some storage space. It had a clothes rack, 2 bedside tables, a king bed, TV, fridge, balcony a lovely bathroom. We had a nice view of the pool and sea and could hear the DJ each afternoon from 4pm until 8pm. Rooms were cleaned daily.
Amenities- The hotel has a beautiful pool and a private stone beach. The sea water is pleasant and there are plenty of fish as well as the hotels ducks which are a great addition to the hotel. You have access to a good gym and sauna. A ice bath would be a nice addition! The hotel also has free cold water stations around which is very needed. We did not book with Neilsons but engaged in some of their activités including padel, kayaking and sea scooters which were very well priced and great fun. Definitely reccomend. Evening entertainment is nice and chilled, a DJ doing 80s songs, chilled music or a film on the beach cinema- perfect.
Food/ drinks- the food at this hotel is its biggest asset. It is simply excellent. It is cooked fresh to order and there is massive variety each day. You order from the blackboards and it operates on a buzzer system where you collect your item when the buzzer goes off. We went half board and felt this was the best value for us as we do not really eat lunch and cocktails are not included on all inclusive and we knew we would be purchasing them anyway! Food is expensive though if you did not have it included- eg a stir fry was around 25 euros. Drinks are well priced at the hotel- typical 5 star hotel prices (14 euros cocktail, 7 euros spirit, 25 euros bottle of wine)

Sunny, friendly, sporty
Booked with Neilson and paid the extra to be all inclusive ie lunches and drinks at the bar (not cocktails or branded spirits although Smirnoff and Gordon’s were included). Meals were excellent and plenty of variety at breakfast, lunch and dinner. A series of blackboards display all the options which are cooked fresh to order. There are no local shops or restaurants besides a very small grocery at the nearby marina. Prices on the boards were €25-45 for a main course. Rooms on the small side and worth upgrading to the sea/pool view. All rooms seem to have an outdoor area/balcony. Our double room had storage in the bedside tables, a dresser unit and a wardrobe but the twin room only had a small hanging rail and nowhere else to unpack/store anything. The offering from Neilson is excellent as would be expected including cat sailing, efoiling, yoga, Pilates, kayaking, SUP, snorkel trips and guided hikes/ebiking. Not sure of the split of guests but would estimate about 20-25% were Neilson meaning that there was always availability for the watersports and classes. We were there late in the season so may have been different. Easy to book via the app. Wind was very variable so could only get out sailing on our last day. Taxi to Marmaris was around 900 lira or there is a water taxi for around €12 one way. Sunloungers are plentiful and comfortable and the swimming area is sheltered and of good size. It’s a rocky beach and I was pleased to have taken beach shoes. DJ starts up around 4pm and continues on into the evening for either a party atmosphere or more chilled vibes or there’s a film in the makeshift screen on the beach. Hotel staff and Neilson staff all very friendly and helpful. Water bottle refill points dotted around the pool/beach. Will definitely be back, much have watersports family resorts been brilliant for us with our growing family but this has been a very relaxing adult trip now they’re 16+.
