Pasabey Hotel

Simple review here, room shocking, shower towels very old, room view terrible, food even worse than the room, repetitive, same almost everyday very bland greasy and tasteless, music in the restaurant is terrible it’s comparable with 1970s supermarket music infact was annoying. The night entrainment not good bingo and quiz’s. Location was a decent walk or a taxi or bus ride to anywhere decent, conclusion, Dated hotel, most staff lovely and helpful, food terrible, sunbeds a joke all gone by 7.15 am, never seems to be a manager on hand to help, would we return a definite no.

My 5th time at this hotel, but 1st time with my husband. Room as always was kept clean with fresh water left for us everyday. Found the food to be hit and miss as I did last time I visited. Very repetitive. Always managed to get a sunbed although my husband was up early every morning to do so. Hotel is in a nice quiet location but is only a 5 minute walk from the marina, bazaar and dancing fountain. This is 1 of the reasons I return to this hotel. That and Erol. Erol is the heart of pasabey, providing the entertainment. Music for all ages, darts matches, water polo and various entertainment at night time including escorting guests to the famous Bar Street. Where he gets his energy from is beyond me. My husband got on great with him which really wasnt surprising. Im not sure if it wasn't for the location and Erol being the great guy he is that I would return. But seeing as I dont really eat much and that I found a delicious burger bar near McDonald's and a nice little bar on corner of bazaar reasonably priced I will be back in June 2027 even if it is to visit Erol and enjoy a peaceful break.

We we so looking forward to our holiday, so booked 4 star all inclusive as thought it would be a little special. This hotel is never a 4 star holiday. Arrived 01st September 2026 lovely entrance to hotel and we're then shown to our room. The room is small, I'm not a large women but had to walk sideways to get past the bed and dressing table. Bedding was clean and on inspection no friendly visitors. Opened the curtains leading to the small balcony which had a view of corrugated roof. Not happy. Went into shower room, basic but needs a re grout and clean. The non slip mat on the shower base looked as if it was full of grime and fungas. The shower base was all cracked and had been sealed with an over enthusiastic amount of sealant. When using the shower which was a good shower had to ensure when stepping out to make sure my foot was no where near the protruding cracks in the base. Next morning asked at reception if it was possible to have a room change. The boy on desk came to our room to see our issues and only response was to shrug his shoulders. He then took us to another room which actually seemed smaller and the view from that room was a brick wall. We stayed where we were. The food is plentiful however was very repetitive. If you like salad you do have a good choice but unfortunately my husband was not a salad lover. Chicken or turkey which was overcooked was the menu main every day. The chips were good as was the fruit choice. Melon and oranges were delicious. For breakfast if you like boiled egg your sorted but don't think I'll look at a boiled egg for a month. SUNBEDS The guest capacity 400+ As we were on holiday thought it would be nice to have a long lie till 8am most days. After 7 days of not being able to get a sunbed and having to sit on a chair all day decided to ask management if they could organise a sunbed for us. Went to reception asked to speak to manager, was asked why and explained would like a sunbed organise. Was told I would need to speak with entertainment manager. Politely told girl on reception that this was not an entertainment issue but hotel issue and I would like to speak with hotel manager. A lady came out of the back office area and I asked her what the hotel guest capacity was, she then asked me why I wanted this information. I politely explained that if they only have 70 sunbeds and their guest capacity was 100(didnt know correct capacity at this time) then they could not accommodate 30 guests who would like to be able to get a sunbed whilst enjoying their holiday. She hummed and hawed for a while and I the further explained that if they only have 70 sunbeds and approx 100 guests then they 30 guests that they are not fully accommodating for. She then went into back office and phoned someone and came out and told me that the boy that puts out the sunbeds would put one out for us where we wanted. This was the worst part. The boy brought out two sunbeds and put them beside the table that we had been sitting at all week. My husband said that he could sit at the chair and allow a more elderly lady the bed as they were unhappy as she had been uncomfortable sitting for hours on a chair. Then all hell let loose.The restaurant manager started shouting and bawling at the other family that this was restsurant area. It was explained to her that we did not put the beds there but that front of house had arranged it Nope she was so unprofessional and rude and made the young boy remove one of the beds to the area near the dart board. My bed stayed where it was for the rest of the day, it was not in an area that would have been a safety issue. For the last 7 days sat on a chair, couldn't be bothered with any negativity. Entertainment One person does the entertainment (errol) both during the day and night. He is exceptional and a credit to any establishment. He befriended everyone, arranged dart tournaments, water polo, played all kinds of music catering for all ages and nationalities . Night entertainment he arranged quizzes and bingo. He is an assett to any establishment and spoke several languages. Would we return to Pasa bey, NO
