This attractive beach hotel is located within a beautiful garden area only around 10 minutes away from the popular pebble beach of Ölüdeniz and the turquoise blue sea. Links to the public transport system are just a stone's throw from the hotel (around 50 m) and there is a lake around 500 m away. The immediate vicinity (around 100 m) offers a vast array of shopping facilities as well as numerous restaurants, various bars, pubs, cafes and many other entertainment facilities. There is a nightclub only about 150 m away from the hotel and the worth-seeing centre of Fethiye is around 13 km away, which is easily reached by car or with the regular minibus transport.

this hotel comprises a total of 189 double rooms and 6 suites over 3 storeys. The hotel welcomes guests in a lobby with a 24-hour reception, hotel safe and currency exchange counter. A bar, a hairdresser's salon, a small supermarket, a shop, a games room, a TV room, public Internet access and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with a terrace (highchairs for kids included) also count amongst the hotel's facilities. Such a lovely hotel

We returned from our two week holiday yesterday and couldn't wait to jump on here to share our views about this lovely hotel.

We arrived in the middle of the night and were taken directly to two separate rooms (102 and 938). We had asked for the two rooms to be together but they proactively apologised and said that if we come back tomorrow they'd move us. We didn't actually bother doing it to be honest as we were quite happy with the rooms, particularly the location of room 102. The rooms upon arrival were clean, tidy and really nice after their renovation (we have been before). There was a bottle of water in the rooms.

Having been before, we knew how brilliant the location of the hotel was and so we couldn't wait to get out and about the day after and, as the beach and strip are on the doorstep, this is just a massive plus.

Food wise, breakfast was great for the kids with chocolate pancakes and chocolate cereal! There was plenty of fresh fruit and dry fruit, the bread was lovely and the cheeses. My husband loved the omelette and egg options. The coffee was nice too. Tea time, the restaurant is lovely. Plenty of varying options and cooked right in front of you in some cases. The puddings were lovely and the two upstairs bars are ideally placed outside and in the lobby. During the day, the restaurant opens for a smaller dinner service and downstairs they have burgers/chips etc with fresh salads as always and a personal winner with our family were the freshly made pancakes! The ladies work so hard and the pancakes are beautiful.

We didn't use the Spa at all. The hairdresser's and barbers were brilliant.

Entertainment wise, the staff were good fun, and they work hard. The daytime entertainment was popular (darts, killer pool, aqua aerobics) and there is a kids club but we didn't use it. In the evening, there were a few shows while we were there but also Karaoke (a bit too much of this unfortunately) and bingo which was payable. As a family of six, we didn't partake as it would have cost us £60. Mohammed made sure he talked to everyone and was really nice company, as was Enes.

We found the bar and restaurant staff to be friendly, efficient and really great with our children and a special mention must go to housekeeping. We had the same lady each time (room 102) and she was so lovely. She was so very kind to my daughter when she wasn't well towards the end of the holiday. She cleaned our room beautifully every day leaving swans made out of the towels. Another special mention to Omer, the photographs are wonderful and he's such a lovely guy.

We recommend the trip to Sugar Beach that the hotel provide a shuttle bus for, we also recommend Hisaronu for a really fun evening out that's family friendly.

All in all, we had a lovely stay at The Karbel and can't wait to return again!

Extremely poor hotel

Avoid avoid avoid! Hotel is a shambles, arrived at 1 in the morning to be told no rooms where ready had to wait until 2.30 am for a room, with a four year old child is not acceptable, no where to get a glass of water untill the bar opened the next day at 10am so had to find a supermarket to get drinks. Food is an absolute joke ending up eating out everyday we were here, power cut after power cut with the back up generator right outside the room….very noisy. Don’t bother speaking to the TUI rep as she very arrogant and couldn’t care less. Asked for 2 rooms together, couldn’t have been further apart (which is fine) however the room that my 18 and 16 year old children where put in smelled real bad (foist) and on opening the wardrobe there was an overwhelming stench of fish 🤢, drain flies all over in the room and also ant infestation, headboard had marks all over it, fridge was rotten and bed sheet on one of the beds was dirty, asked reception to change bed to be told that housekeeping finish at 5.30/6 and not possible untill next day, my son had to sleep on a towel!
Where told that room would be changed the next day but when asked the next day they couldn’t as full and was told the day after, this went on for three days eventually gave up asking. Pool area is very rarely cleaned and the actual pool has that much sediment on the bottom it feels like the beach!!! I think the hotel management/owners have gave up tbh and just letting the place go while fleecing people to stay here. Oludeniz is a beautiful place with amazing scenery just this hotel needs to be avoided!!

Only positive I can give is that the photographer is very friendly and always stops for a chat and the guest liaison woman was kind of helpful trying to help resolve issues, but I think even she gave up in the end.

Definitely recommended

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 days and had an amazing experience thanks to the Karbel Hotel and its beautiful location. The room exceeded our expectations, it was cleaned every day and the cleaning staff were so lovely on passing. The only down side was that the double bed only had two thin pillows and the hair dryer broke though this was quickly repaired by hotel staff. All bar, restaurant and reception staff were lovely and very helpful. I found the entertainment team slightly rude at times, though that may just have been their sence of humour- they were certainly entertaining and the evening shows were incredible. The pool was enjoyable also and we certainly did not struggle to get a sunbed in the morning. Although breakfast was definitely a miss, lunch and dinner were always enjoyable. It’s a shame that cocktails are not included in the all inclusive. The highlight was definitely the close proximity to the strip which led you directly to the beach. This, alongside the free shuttle to Sugar Beach Club provided by the hotel makes it definitely value for money 🙃.

Do not come, save your money

We are here atm, checked into our room on Friday at 2230hrs. The baggage man for the hotel (Mustafa) took our suitcases once we had booked in at reception and took us to our room, room 911. He turned on the aircon which was blowing out warm air and said, "all good" then shook his hands as if now waiting for a tip. I then gave him 100L but then pointed out to him that the door to the balcony wouldn't lock, the aircon was blowing warm air, long black hairs all over the dirty floor, the phone in the room didn't work, 2 very small pillows, 1 room key fob for 2 adults and a long LIVE WIRE hanging out of the bathroom mirror . I then said, im not staying in this room as its clearly not ready and not clean and not secure. He then frog marched us to a basement room, past everyone at the pool disco to another room with 2 single beds and a wire hanging out the ceiling which I think is where the fire alarm would be located?? I said "no chance" are we staying in this room. He then marched us back to reception where I tried talking to the 2 male staff behind reception but they weren't bothered at all and one of them couldn't speak English at all?? I asked when can I speak to the TUI rep the next day and they didn't know what day or time the rep was visiting? We then got frog marched back to room 911 with Mustafa again, and then a local bodgit builder turned up with his hammer, drill and tool box banging away at the balcony door to try to fix it? 90 minutes had now gone by and me and my partner were just fuming but seen the funny side that they even had the audacity to put us in this room??? I then followed guidance from my TUI text to text their certain number if any problems. I sent them a text to ask for help and a message came back saying I will now incur extra costs on my EE mobile bill if I continue to send anymore texts?? I spoke to the TUI rep and also the hotel rep the next morning, both very helpful and they did manage to sort out most issues. Now Sunday, room 911 still has long black hairs all over the floor from the last occupants which ive now reported again. The food in the restaurant is absolutely shocking and poor. The main pool is mega loud and carnage. If you want to pay £2100 for 7 nights all inclusive, then stay in the UK and book yourself in Butlins/Pontins as that is what it's like here 😀
