Beautiful island, lovely stay – just skip the bike fee
We had a wonderful few days at Ayada and overall really enjoyed the experience. The island itself is gorgeous – lush, well-kept, and not overly crowded. Our villa was spacious, clean, and nicely designed, and the housekeeping team did a great job keeping everything tidy (and the turndown service was a nice touch).
Food across the restaurants was solid, especially the Turkish grill and the beach bar vibe at night. Staff throughout were friendly and attentive without being over-the-top.
A special shoutout to our butler Nuttu – he was genuinely great. Responsive on WhatsApp, remembered little things we mentioned, and sorted out dinner reservations and excursions without any fuss. Made the stay feel personal.
The one thing that rubbed us the wrong way: no free bicycles. Pretty much every other Maldivian resort we've stayed at includes them, so paying $10/day here felt a bit petty for a property at this price point – especially when the island isn't tiny and you're biking back and forth multiple times a day. Not a dealbreaker, but an unnecessary annoyance.
Would we come back? Probably yes – Nattu alone makes a difference – but hope they reconsider the bike policy.

Overall, our experience at Ayada was very good. Our butler, Nattu, was extremely attentive and responded promptly to all our requests. When I needed to visit the medical centre, he waited for me outside for quite a long time to ensure my needs were met promptly; I am very grateful to him. We would like to make a suggestion to Ayada: as a means of transport on the island, we believe bicycles should be provided free of charge, rather than being subject to the package we booked; this aspect of the experience was rather disappointing.
Wonderful trip
Overall, we were very satisfied with our Ayada trip. We stayed for two nights in a Beach Villa and two nights in an Ocean Villa—both rooms were excellent, and the overall experience was outstanding. John, our butler, took care of everything for us; I'm truly grateful for his dedication, and I'll definitely recommend Ayada to my friends.
