Ambre Mauritius is fantastic
Great adults only hotel located on East Coast with amazing views. Taxis are easy to book & Belle Mare is a short ride away. Large rooms and spotlessly clean. All the staff were absolutely fantastic, so friendly and couldn't do enough for us but extra special mention to Ravi in Indigo, Pascalina in the Ti Bar, Kam at La Plage, lovely Reena who looked after our room brilliantly, the amazing staff at Dolce Vita and H&H. Lots of great places to relax and unwind. Lots to do but easy to find tranquillity and peace. Thoroughly recommended, this was our first visit to Mauritius and recommend Ambre and Mauritius ...we'll definitely be back 🙏
Very relaxing
What a lovely hotel we stayed for 5 nights for a relax after being in south Africa, and this is just what the doctor order. the staff are so friendly and will do anything for you. the food is great and plenty of choice available. Drinks are good and i must say the Rosemary G&T was my favourite. the pool area sun beds were available and you can come down at any time and you will be able to find somewhere to lay your beach towel. Our room was nice but could of done with a little bit more light as quite dark in one corner but to be fair we were hardly in it. it had a lovely see view and had enough room the bath room was large and the shower was nice and warm.

Nice stay
Nice resort, not as chilled as we expected, but there are quiet areas, further from the bar and restaurant/ pool if you wanted. The all inclusive was a little disappointing, very limited on what you could have, no Martins or negroni, or even a Campari and soda, which is not an expensive drink! Cheapest gin/ vodka and whiskey ( unknown brands) and one type of beer. Mini fridge limited to 2 beers and 2 soft drinks. The buffet depends on your preference, my husband loved it, I struggled, but they will always make you an omelette or something plain, if curry isn’t your thing, must say though, the best bread and butter ever ( french ) The staff are faultless, all so nice. We liked it, we didn’t love it.

Romantic escape to paradise
My husband and I have just returned following 2 fantastic weeks at Ambre for our wedding anniversary. Following a long flight we were welcomed with great smiles a refreshing drink and made to feel instantly at home. We were taken to our perfect spacious room which had recently been refurbished and had fabulous Seaview. Our room also had a huge bed and we always found the shower lovely and warm. The staff are just amazing throughout the whole hotel, from housekeeping and ground staff to the restaurants and bars to front of house. They even sent me a box of English breakfast tea to our room, when I asked if any maybe available. The facilities provided were excellent, we enjoyed a great lobster night on the beach and also booked into the Italian restaurant several times. The food was extremely good throughout our stay with great selection in all restaurants within the hotel. We enjoyed some excellent trips from 5 island with Chris and the south Island tour via private taxi. It was a little windy during our stay however this didn't spoil our holiday. The hotel room brolly came in handy for a sudden quick shower on the evening. The hotel has such a beautiful setting along the white sandy beach and the pools were perfect - albeit a little cold until you were in. We also managed to enjoy the water facilities provided once the wind had dropped. We highly recommend for a relaxing romantic escape in your own piece of heaven. We honestly didn't want to leave and will 100% return.

Great staff
Staff was very welcoming. Unfortunately had some trouble with the spa reservation but luckily Mrs Nicoletta was a great help. She was so nice!!!
