Situated along the east coast of Mauritius in Trou d'Eau Douce, Friday Attitude offers air-conditioned rooms with direct access to a white sandy beach with thatched umbrellas. There is a lush garden with an outdoor pool surrounded by sun loungers.
The rooms are simply decorated and open onto a private balcony with garden views. They each have a bathroom with a shower and hairdryer.
Barbecue facilities are provided for outdoor dining. Guests can relax with a massage or an outdoor activity such as snorkelling. A child-minding service is offered and there is a games room with billiards, table tennis and darts.
Free parking is available at Friday Attitude and Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is a 45-minute drive away. Free Wi-Fi is available at the front desk.

Cooking Class for Kids at Friday Attitude
The cooking class for the children was very nice and they liked it.
(Almost) home from home
In a world flooded by fake news and AI images, it was refreshing to experience something as refreshing as Friday Attitude. Let's first get the negatives out of the way. It is a much smaller hotel compared to others we've been at (Ravenala, Paradis, Pearl Beach etc). It has a small parking for 6 cars and its entrance is not clearly marked. It does not have the same vibe as a 4 or 5-star upmarket hotel. But it is a good thing. Instead, you get an authentic, genuine Mauritian experience. A place where staff smile, say hello first and come to meet you to say hi and chat with you while you're eating or lounging. Our rooms were big for a family of four with some minor niggles. Mr Avinash and the team deserve a pat on the back for the effort they put in keeping the hotel clean and welcoming. Personal highlight was the food. Forget about international food, it was all about eating the Mauritian way. Mine frire, Riz frire, confit, halim, alouda, tarte banane, napolitaine, takar, la soupe crab, satini bringelle, salad lalo, panacon, roti marchand and so on. For the first time in my life, I wished I had a second (or third or fourth) stomach. Well done for my family welcomed during our short stay and all the best!
