This lovely boutique hotel is located in East Coast and boasts a beautiful beach location. When designer Camille Walala saw our bright blue skies, pink sunsets, green sugarcane fields, and the explosion of diverse paint colours used to decorate the houses in our village, it was love at first sight. And with local makers creating the furniture, art, and finer details, the Mauritian influence comes through loud and clear. It makes our boutique hotel completely unique.

Absolutely Exceptional in Every Way
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
An absolutely exceptional stay from beginning to end. This is one of those rare hotels where you can feel that every single detail has been carefully thought through. Everything was beautiful, effortless, and incredibly well done.
What made the experience particularly special was the staff. Everyone was genuinely warm and friendly while remaining highly professional, attentive, and thoughtful. The level of service was outstanding throughout my stay.
One of the absolute highlights was a cooking class with the chef. I have done cooking classes in different places around the world, and this was genuinely the best one I have ever experienced. It was personal, fun, inspiring, and something I will remember for a long time.
I also loved the range of activities available — snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, and much more — all complimentary, which made it so easy to enjoy everything Mauritius has to offer and made the stay feel even more special.
The hotel itself is simply beautiful, with a wonderful atmosphere and an incredible attention to detail. I enjoyed every moment of my stay and honestly struggled to find a single thing that could have been better.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough. A truly wonderful experience, and somewhere I would return to without hesitation.

Aqua flot was awesome, had too much fun with fitness coach . He taught me marital arts. Property is awesome Boat house awesome staff. My first snorkeling exp, very nice staff. Chef gigi (shiv) gave me best good food. Even twice the quantity to feed my big appetite. I loved my stay
Beautiful Escape
My husband and i had the most wonderful stay at SALT. Waking up to the beautiful sea view every morning was so peaceful and relaxing. ❤️ The food was amazing, and every staff member made us feel so welcome, especially Mr. Rishi, Mr. Ananda, and the lovely restaurant team. I would like to thank the beautiful lady at the spa as well. After the massage, I was flying. 😅 The surprise anniversary decorations and cake truly touched our hearts. Thank you for making our stay so special. We can't wait to come back!
Where guests are treated like Family! SALT OF PALMAR
From the moment we made our reservation, this hotel exceeded our expectations. While many hotels only accept payment by bank transfer in advance, I politely asked the receptionist if she could refer my request to her manager. Mr. Rishi kindly contacted me and agreed to let us pay upon arrival, which we truly appreciated.
We had booked a half-board package, but to our surprise we were upgraded to full board at no additional cost. After checking in, we were also invited to enjoy lunch, a thoughtful gesture that not every hotel offers.
As we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, I mentioned it to Mr. Rishi, hoping to arrange something special for my wife. The hotel went above and beyond our expectations by organizing a beautiful candlelight dinner. When we returned to our room, we were greeted with a beautifully decorated bed and a delicious anniversary cake waiting for us. Everything was complimentary, making the occasion even more memorable.
I would also like to thank Mr. Ananda, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. He has a warm personality that makes you feel comfortable from the very first conversation. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and the flexibility shown by the team was exceptional.
Finally, a special thank you to all the staff. Everyone was welcoming, always smiling, well-presented, and genuinely eager to help. Their hospitality made us feel valued throughout our stay.
This is honestly the first hotel where my wife and I genuinely wanted to extend our stay. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked, which was completely understandable.
Thank you to the entire team for making our wedding anniversary so special. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality. ❤️
Peaceful, relaxing, and georgeous
It was one of the most beautiful holiday in the last 10 years. The room is very comfortable, beautiful, and clear. We loved each every unique handmade cosmetics, that we could use in the bathroom. Everything was fine. The restauranr, the bar, the SPA, everything. The waiters, special Daram, Bool, Heeroo were so kind, friendly , they always make us smile, every day a little kindness, it was healing to my soul. The atmosphere of the hotel is so peaceful, we could relax, and just be there and enjoy our time. I wish all the best for Salt of Palmar stuff, they are special!
