The Sunrise Attitude faces one of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius at Belle Mare, located along the preserved east coast. It's known for its miles of white sand and stunning turquoise lagoon.
This eco-friendly 4* hotel is reserved exclusively for adults and is a serene hideaway, taking design inspiration from the beautiful surroundings: the terracotta and mustard gold earth tones, the leaf green and glimpses of blue. Arrive and gaze over the ocean, which is just across the road, taking a deep breath of fresh, sea air.
Sunrise Attitude is a place to forget what the time is, revive yourself at Spa POZ and reconnect with nature. Offering 7 treatment rooms, a beauty salon and a salt hammam room. Relax by one of the two swimming pools, or enjoy some water activities including glass bottom boat, snorkelling, or even diving lessons* and a catamaran cruise*.
The Sunrise Attitude hotel welcomes you for a relaxing stay in one of its 145 rooms and 8 villas with private pools. Here, there is no television. Your time away is all about rest and letting go. A true escape for two. There is also a choice of swim-up rooms, which offers direct access to the pool from your terrace. All rooms include free Wi-Fi, a telephone with IDD access (at a fee), minibar*, safe, air conditioning, a hairdryer and a bathroom with a shower and seperate toilet.
When it comes to cuisine, there’s a Dine Around experience for guests choosing half-board, full board or the All-In All-Out board basis. Choose to eat in one of the three restaurants: the tapas bar-restaurant is very relaxed and guests are welcome from 6pm onwards with lounge music; the main buffet restaurant has the spirit of a local market; and Kot Nou is the place to feel like you are dining in a Mauritian home, with the chance to taste Mauritian cuisine. This hotel will treat you to tasty, healthy dishes, including a wide range of vegan options.

A beautiful and thoughtfully designed resort with great potential, but with several service, convenience and maintenance issues that prevented the experience from feeling truly relaxing and polished.

Another Beautiful Escape at Sunrise Attitude 🌴🤍
Our second stay at Sunrise Attitude, and once again, we left with a heart full of beautiful memories. 🤍🌴✨
We spent 19–21 September at Sunrise Attitude, and these three days were the perfect little escape. Having already stayed here once before, coming back felt extra special and this time, we got to experience even more of what the resort has to offer.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by such warm and friendly staff, with a refreshing cold towel and citronella water. Such a thoughtful touch after our journey and a beautiful way to start our stay.
This time, we chose the Couple Swim-Up Room, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. 🥹🤍 Peaceful, relaxing and private, it was the perfect little space to unwind, disconnect and simply enjoy quality time together. The swim-up access made it even more special.
Our dining experiences were equally memorable. On our first evening, we chose The Market for the buffet experience. There was an amazing variety of food, from fresh salads to different dishes and desserts. A special mention to Chef Miven, who was always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. The restaurant team was also incredibly hardworking, attentive and welcoming.
For our second evening, we headed to The Social House, where we had another wonderful dining experience. Chef Miven and Chef Ravi went above and beyond to make sure everything was beautifully arranged and that we had an amazing evening. From the setup to the food and service, everything was so thoughtfully done.
We made the most of the activities included in our package too, including the glass-bottom boat experience. We also had such a fun time at The Social House playing carrom and simply enjoying the laid-back atmosphere.
But the absolute highlight of our stay was Cinéma Sous Les Étoiles on Sunday night. It was such a beautiful and unique experience and honestly the perfect way to end an already amazing weekend.
Leaving with a heavy heart, knowing that our three beautiful days had come to an end. It’s always difficult to say goodbye to a place where you’ve felt so relaxed, welcomed and genuinely happy.
A huge thank you to the entire Sunrise Attitude team for making our second stay just as memorable as our first. From the warm welcome, beautiful room and amazing food to the activities, thoughtful service and little touches throughout our stay ,everything made us feel so welcomed and cared for.
And most importantly, please convey our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Chef Miven and Chef Ravi. ❤️ Their kindness, attention and genuine effort to make sure we had a wonderful dining experience truly did not go unnoticed. We are incredibly grateful for the care they put into making our evenings so special.

An exceptional stay
The staff were very welcoming from the minute we arrived at the hotel; the dining experience was up to par, and the bar men always smiling. The hotel has an eco-friendly attitude, which I liked. The room was tidy and cozy.

Fantastic
Came here for my birthday and i must say this hotel is fantastic, we couldn't have wished for a better holiday, the staff are so friendly, the team work endlessly hard & the food was exceptionally good, we had a swim up room which was shared between 5 other rooms & we never saw any other persons in the pool. We did a home visit (with 4 other couples from the hotel who we had never met) to Nevin and his family (to see how they live & what they eat) where we had their home made food, met their families , and while the men drank rum our partners were dressed in saris & were shown how they dance. The beach is clean & tidy. What more can i say but we aim to be returning in around 18 months time & i cannot wait. One word to explain this holiday BRILLIANT.
