Wonderful location
We had a very enjoyable 16 night stay at this wonderful location, everybody wants to please, nothing is too much trouble, just ask, and your request is granted, it is one of the best hotels we have stayed in.I would like to name a few staff who made it such a pleasure, the 3 chefs in TSK, Varun,Richie and Itesh, Rahul the housekeeping supervisor, and Navmi the checkin receptionist, I can certainly recommend this hotel, and we will return .

A true paradise
Beautiful resort. Excellent service. Somewhat pricy. Very nice restaurants. I very much recommend the Biketour with Ricardo to the Market and the Kayaktour through the mangroves with Rosario. Keep up this wonderful place!

Wonderful stay — the suite experience was exceptional
Our stay at Shangri-La Le Touessrok was arranged at very short notice during our family holiday in Mauritius, and from the beginning we were impressed by how efficiently and professionally everything was handled.
During our stay, I had the opportunity to experience both a regular room and a suite, which gave me a good comparison between the different accommodation options.
The regular room was comfortable and provided a very good resort experience, but the suite was on another level and was easily the highlight of our stay. The additional space, comfort and overall experience made a significant difference, particularly when travelling as a family. If I were to return, I would definitely choose the suite again.
The resort itself is beautiful, with a wonderful setting and a relaxing atmosphere. More importantly, the service and hospitality made us feel very welcome, particularly considering that our reservation had been made at short notice.
What began as an unexpected change in our travel plans turned into one of the most enjoyable parts of our Mauritius holiday.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Shangri-La Le Touessrok. For anyone deciding between the room categories, based on my personal experience of staying in both, the suite is absolutely worth considering.

Lovely hotel, needs service improvement
The Shangrila is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous clean rooms and the most stunning views of the ocean. The check in process is relaxed and personal and you feel the luxury as soon as you check in. My husband and I stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed the adults pool every day, whereby Stephen looked after us amazingly. Fresh water every day, cleaned our sunglasses and was always super attentive. We enjoyed the golden hour at Cocos every day with amazing staff, music and canapés, the staff there were very attentive. The food in all of the A La Carte restaurants is amazing and for us Kushi stood out as by far the most amazing food. Where the hotel let us down was with the service in the restaurants, it is very clear that the hotel is under staffed in both chefs and waiting staff. Every morning at breakfast we would have to request something to be replenished and it appeared no one was proactively doing this. The banana bread had tiny ants crawling all over it every morning despite me reporting it. We attended the pan Asian night at TSK whereby Archie was doing an amazing job but clearly needed help Cooking as there was always something people were waiting for. Service for us is what makes a 5 star and there was always a wait for drinks or food in all of the restaurants. We visited Cocos Beach bar for dinner where the waitress was quite unhelpful and also clearly too stretched. Oodesh in housekeeping looked after our room perfectly and sent someone to fix our broken sink immediately. Restaurant service is clearly an issue and sadly brought down our overall honeymoon experience. This is a beautiful hotel but must improve on service.
