Mauritius to Mahe

After breakfast, you’ll say goodbye to Mauritius and head to the airport for your flight to the Seychelles. When you arrive, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where you can settle in, unpack, and then step out to explore the calm, natural beauty of this island paradise.

Day 10-11
Mahe

Relax on Mahe’s beautiful sandy beaches, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the crystal‑clear waters. Find your own perfect mix of adventure and relaxation—whether you're discovering vibrant marine life or simply unwinding by the shore, Mahe offers a paradise you’ll never forget.

If you’d like to explore further, you can choose optional excursions such as guided nature walks, snorkelling trips, or boat rides to nearby islands. Your hotel can arrange these for you.

This morning, you will depart Seychelles. You’ll be transferred to the airport to board your return flight back to the UK.

As well as a selection of five restaurants and two bars. Kids will be entertained by our sliding pool and dedicated hosts from the Coral kids Club, the complimentary Kids club is open until late so you can kick back and enjoy a unique dinner experience with your partner.

Rooms are spacious with private facilities and a furnished balcony or terrace overlooking the ocean. They also feature satellite TV, telephone, in-room safe, mini bar (on request, at a fee) and Wi-Fi for those that want or need to stay in touch with the outside world. Room upgrades to a Beachfront Room or Suite are available at a fee.

The deposit applies to adults and children. If you are within 12 weeks of travel then the full balance of the holiday will be payable.

Mauritius visa requirements

A visa is not required for British citizens visiting Mauritius. Further advice should be sought from the applicable tourist authority for other nationalities and for general queries. We strongly advise you check your destinations’ Tourist Board or Embassy for the most up-to-date guidelines regarding passport validity.

Seychelles visa requirements

For the Seychelles, your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay. You do not need a visa to visit Seychelles, but you must get a travel authorisation before you travel. You can get the travel authorisation by completing a Travel Authorization and Digital Passenger Declaration before departure. This is available here: https://seychelles.govtas.com/ and should be completed up to 5 days prior to travel. We recommend you check with your destinations' Tourist Board or Embassy prior to departure for the most up to date guidelines regarding this.

We strongly recommend that you and all members of your party are suitably insured as soon as you book your holiday. It is a condition of booking that you must have suitable travel insurance. It is important that you purchase travel insurance that suitably covers your participation in whatever activities you may undertake at the time that you make your booking. The currency in Mauritius is the Mauritian Rupee (MUR), however it is possible to pay in Euros at larger establishments. We recommend that you exchange your currency before you leave the UK.

The currency in the Seychelles is the Seychelles Rupee, but Euros are also widely accepted in the major cities. Cash machines will also be available in the city in order to withdraw money in the local currency.

As normal practice you may be asked for your credit card details on check-in at the hotel in order to cover any extras incurred during your stay. If you do not have a credit card, you may be asked for a cash deposit. MasterCard and Visa are widely accepted in hotels as well as American Express.

You will need to take some extra money with you to cover any personal purchases, such as souvenirs, laundry and extra drinks and snacks.

We have no minimum number of passengers to run this holiday. If we are not able to operate your departure date for any other reason, then you may be asked to change to a different date and a full refund will be made available to you should this alternative not be suitable.

Yu will not be escorted by a tour guide. Your time here will be free to do as you wish. Details of your departure transfer will be confirmed by a representative in the hotel.

Please note there is no international classification system for hotels, and differences in facilities and quality do exist compared to what you might expect in the UK.

On arrival in Mauritius, after collecting any hold luggage and passing through Customs, please make your way directly to gate 5 where one of our friendly representatives will welcome you and lead you to your chosen transfer. The representative will be holding a Mercury Welcome Board.

In the event of a problem with your hold luggage, please send a member of your party to arrivals to advise our representative of the delay. If you are travelling alone, please call one of the numbers below.

On your arrival in Mahé you will be met by a representative from our local agent in the Seychelles, Mason’s Travel, holding a sign displaying: “Mercury Holidays”. The Mercury Holidays/Mason’s Travel representative will show you to your transfer vehicle. Your guide will be able to answer any queries.
