The Lagoon Attitude is located on the north coast of Mauritius in Anse La Raie, overlooking one of the island’s largest lagoons. The hotel edges a protected coast on the north side of the island and is reserved for adults only, offering a chilled seaside vibe. Lagoon Attitude is resolutely eco-committed.
Guests' looking to relax can bathe by one of the hotel's 3 swimming pools, or enjoy a treatment at the hotels Spa POZ, which offers a great selection of treatments using 100% natural – and locally made – products. For those looking for something a bit livelier, there is evening entertainment up to 5 times a week, and DJ parties including a beach part, or pool party.
There is plenty on offer at the hotel to keep you busy throughout the day including tennis, beach volley, a fitness centre, board games, and yoga for beginners. For those looking to make use out of the crystal blue waters, why not take part in a full day catamaran trip*, PADI diving*, kayaking, snorkelling, or kite surfing (nearby).
There are 182 rooms at the hotel, some with an outdoor Jacuzzi, and traditional Mauritian architecture blends with contemporary beach decor to create a paradise for nature and sea lovers. Each room is complete with free wi-fi, a telephone, electronic safe, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning.
There is a choice of three very different atmospheres, depending on whether you are looking for fun or peaceful holiday moments. The Otentik (authentic) area with its Mauritian restaurants; the lively area with its ocean facing Seabreeze Bar; and a peaceful area hosting an infinity pool and a gastronomic restaurant. Dining here is in tune with nature, so you will find a choice of seasonal and locally grown produce on your plate. If you are on a half board basis or higher, the Dine Around experience allows you to try three out of the five hotel restaurants. The staff, known as Family Members, will go above and beyond to look after every guest throughout their stay here – they are a true reflection of warm Mauritian hospitality.
Lagoon Attitude is Travelife Gold and Made in Moris certified for its continuous efforts towards social and environmental sustainability practices. The hotel lives and breathes Attitude Hotels’ Positive Impact movement. From a ban on single-use plastics in its guest experience to its self-service Bulk Shop, everything has been thought about here when it comes to sustainability. Guests can visit the Marine Discovery Centre to learn about the lagoon and marine life conservation projects, join an eco-workshop or pick up a blue net bag to help collect any litter seen while exploring the snorkelling trail or walking along the coast.

Beautiful place
The property is very well maintained and modern, surrounded by plenty of green. In the evening, it feels alive with little birds and wildlife.
The staff personnel are kind and friendly, and the cleaning service is thorough, precise, and attentive. The food is of high quality and quantity, and offers a great variety.
The only bad side, which is not related to the property itself but rather to its location, was the wind. In August, when temperatures can be lower than during other periods, the wind is unpleasant more often than we expected compared to the west coast.
Nonetheless, there are a couple of pools where you can find good protection from the wind.
I also really appreciated the live entertainment. If possible, I highly recommend choosing a room with a hot tub on the balcony.

Mauritius Dream
What a fantastic experience we have had in Mauritius, the hotel staff have been accommodating in every way. The ala carte restaurants varied in terms of choice. The word Vinderloo in the uk is often something you fear, however the Mauritius way is all taste without heat. There are too many people to mention, Smith was our waiter early in our experience and was always friendly and attentive throughout. The guys in the restaurants, fantastic service and sometimes, unfortunately, a continuous flow of white wine. Henna in the bar is a star, please say high from us when you visit. Fully recommend this resort...

Fantastic Honeymoon
We have just come back from a 10 night stay at Lagoon Attitude for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The location is stunning, food delicious and all the staff were brilliant. We would in particular like to mention Henna from the Wave bar, she provided amazing service and was incredibly funny too. She remembered what drinks we enjoyed and made sure we were never without a drink too.
The main restaurant had so many options. The 3 a la carte restaurants Lemongrass, Kot Nou and Coral were also fantastic. They are included but you have to book them, make sure you book early on to avoid missing out.
There are also lots of activities included, such as snorkeling, kayaking, pedalos and glass bottom boat trip. There is also a sunset cruise which is extra and only available on particular days, unfortunately we were unable to do that though. Our first booking was cancelled as not enough people signed up, then our rebooking was cancelled due to the weather.
There are lots of activities throughout the day, but they do not keep pestering you if you would rather just relax. Evening entertainment was always live music, the artists were always very good.
There were some stray dogs around the resort, however they didn't bother people and would only stay if people were making a fuss of them. We actually enjoyed their presence and most of the other guests seemed to as well.
The room was clean, we paid a bit extra for a seafront view which was well worth it.
Overall we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend!
Excellent honeymoon experience
Had an excellent time at Lagoon attitude for our honeymoon. The setting was amazing and exactly what we wanted. The facilities in the hotel were superb and we used the glass bottom boat which was a great experience. Hotel was relaxed, food was carried and plentiful and staff were polite and courteous. Pool areas were relaxed and the hotel was spotless. Permal in the coral restaurant made our stay. Thank you!
