The Ravenala

Our stay at Ravenala Attitude was truly magical. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere, the food was excellent, and our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. A special thank you goes to Pratim and Ragini, who made our stay even more memorable through their kindness, attentiveness, and outstanding service. Their warmth and dedication made us feel genuinely welcome, and they went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful experience—but especially to Pratim and Ragini for everything they did to make our stay so amazing. We would love to return!

A Lovely Honeymoon Stay with a Few Areas for Improvement.

We stayed at Ravenala Attitude for our honeymoon on an all-inclusive basis and, overall, had a lovely time. The hotel is in a beautiful beachfront location, and arriving to find champagne waiting for us in the room was a really nice touch and a great way to start our honeymoon.

Our room was a good size, well furnished and comfortable, and the overall setting of the hotel is lovely. The entertainment was also a highlight, with a great atmosphere throughout our stay. The bar staff and animation team were particularly friendly and helpful, and really added to the experience.

Unfortunately, we did have an issue with our shower which was disappointing, particularly during a honeymoon stay. On our first night, the shower flooded the entire bathroom, the entrance hall and toilet, with water even making its way underneath the entrance door. We contacted reception immediately that night and made them aware of the problem. We were told it would be included in the maintenance handover for the following morning.

However, nobody came to look at it the next day. We raised the issue with reception again, and although we were told it would be followed up, nobody ever came to inspect or resolve the problem during our stay. In the end, we had to repeatedly turn the shower on and off, allowing the water to completely drain before using it again. This was quite an inconvenience and, more importantly, frustrating that the issue was reported twice but never properly addressed.

The other area we felt could be improved was the buffet restaurant. For a hotel of this size, we found the buffet area quite small and it became very busy at peak times. We also found the choice of food fairly limited and repetitive. As a small example, during our six-day stay, I only managed to get bacon at breakfast once, as the section was regularly empty. Expanding the buffet selection and ensuring popular items are replenished more consistently would make a noticeable difference.

Aside from these issues, we really enjoyed our stay. The beachfront location is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff who we interacted with — particularly the bar and entertainment teams — were fantastic.

Overall, Ravenala Attitude provided us with a lovely honeymoon experience. There are certainly a few areas where better maintenance follow-up and improvements to the buffet could make the stay even better, but we still enjoyed our time there and have some very happy memories from our visit.

Must stay hotel! I have a life threatening allergy and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate for me and keep me safe! Chef Vishal took exceptional care of as well as Yas in his absence, Vishal would check up on my every meal to ensure I was okay and all the staff are extremely attentive and so hospitable. Our house keeper Prety kept our room in immaculate condition. The location is only 10 mins for the public beach which is bigger than the hotels beach, but there are so many free activities such as snorkelling and paddle boarding and the hotel beach. Poz spa is the best massage I’ve ever had and was extremely good value for money with the promotion they had on. Live music entertainment was amazing to watch and along side the various drink options some people may never want to leave the bar.
