I highly recommend that hotel - very, very nice and helpfull staff (specially thank's to DEEPAK - out best guy, who work in the restaurant but u feel as he's family member) clean rooms, beautifull ocean view from the room and good vibe. #106
Very disappointed - changed hotel for our stay
Multiple issues with this hotel unfortunately.
- The first room we were provided with had a smell from the shower drain and after two attempts by housekeeping at resolving this we were moved to another room which was better but the problem was not fully resolved.
- Both rooms we saw had kettles with Continental plugs, which were rammed into type G British sockets without an earth connection. Better to get the right kettle leads!
- Room faced the road but glazing was not air-tight enough to fully reduce noise level at night.
- The gym was a bit deficient; 6kg and 12kg dumbells only.
- The sun deck had no sunshades.
- The lift (elevator) did not align with all floors so was a trip hazard.
- Great salad for dinner, but no hot vegetarian food.
The housekeeping staff were mostly trying to be helpful but in my opinion they were battling a cheap refurbishment and poor maintence.
We planned to stay five nights, but after a single night stay we moved to another hotel. The OceanV have since emailed to assure us that the issues we identified are being addressed. They provided a good-will gesture for the cancelled nights.

Don't go!
Do not go here!! The photos are well done but do not reflect anything about this hotel! Firstly the location- on a very busy road and the local crowded beach is tiny and along the road. There are many nicer places! The photo of the beautiful glamorous reception is because they can't put rooms on the bottom floor- it is too noisy. The photos of the infinity pool are well done so as not to show the buildings right in front of the hotel.
Our first room stank of sewage. It made me physically sick. First complaint brought a cleaner with a car freshener. 2 complaints later and we were moved to a slightly better room but honestly I think the hotel has sewage issues. The noise (of the road) in the rooms was not helped by the ill fitting and nonlocking balcony windows. The mini bar in both rooms were empty, notice said goods were available on request. The kettles were 2 prong, dangerously half out of 3 prong sockets. The lift didn't open level with the floors on some levels (they had warning tape on the floors) and there were worrying messages suggesting breakdowns were frequent. The top floor had 10 sunbeds (with no shade) for 38 rooms, a broken guard rail and what looked to be a soil pipe going through the middle. The gym was a glassed off area of the corridor. I could go on!
We stayed 1 night out of the 5 we booked. The food was limited and non existent for vegetarians. The staff tried (eventually), especially once we said we were leaving but I gather that they had a sequence they would go through. Go elsewhere, do not spoil your holiday going here!
