Honeymoon
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel! ❤️ This was our second time visiting, and it was extra special because the first time we came with our family, while our second visit was for our honeymoon. It was wonderful to return to a place that already held such lovely memories for us and create a completely different, yet equally special, experience.
A special mention to Adarsh at Playa Restaurant, who took such good care of us and served us wonderfully. His attentiveness, kindness and great service really made our dining experience memorable.
We also had the pleasure of meeting Kaajal at Cabana, who was lovely and welcoming. The warmth and hospitality of the staff truly added to our experience.
Thank you to the entire team for making both of our stays so memorable. We have beautiful memories from our family trip and our honeymoon, and we would definitely love to come back again! ❤️✨
Wonderful Stay
Had an amazing stay at Tamassa! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming, relaxing, and full of good vibes. The resort is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the surroundings were absolutely stunning.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety, and there was always something to look forward to.
What I loved most was the overall atmosphere — perfect for relaxing, enjoying the beach, and simply getting away from the everyday routine. Everything was well organised, and the service really stood out.
A big thank you to the entire Tamassa team and especially Chef Edinho for making our stay so memorable. I would definitely recommend Tamassa to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway in Mauritius.
Excellent experience
I had a wonderful experience at Tamassa, even though my stay was only for one night. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was excellent and the whole experience felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable.
A special mention goes to Chef Edinho, who really stood out with his kindness, attentiveness, and hospitality. He made the experience feel extra special and is a great example of the level of service you can expect at Tamassa.
Even for a short stay, I left with a very positive impression and would happily come back. Highly recommended!

We had a really wonderful day at Tamassa! My family and I truly enjoyed the day pass and had an amazing time.
A special thank you to Nishad and his team, Siven and Sid, who made our day extra special. They were so welcoming, helpful and attentive, and they even organised a small birthday celebration for us, which was such a lovely surprise. 🎂❤️

Beautiful Setting, Excellent Facilities, with Some Room for Improvement
A beautiful and peaceful location, although quite remote, with the nearest village around a 15-minute walk away.
The staff were generally friendly and accommodating, although the application of certain policies seemed inconsistent. On arrival at 10:00 am, we had just missed breakfast and had to wait until around 2:15 pm for our room. By comparison, friends who arrived four days later at 9:00 am were offered breakfast and given access to their room by 11:00 am.
Our room was clean and comfortable, with a fantastic sea view, although it would benefit from some updating. The room telephone also worked intermittently.
The grounds and general landscaping were very well maintained, with daily upkeep evident. There was an excellent range of facilities and activities, including a well-used spa and a good selection of scheduled activities. The pool handrail, however, was very wobbly and would benefit from being secured properly. We also found the pool water to be particularly cold.
The buffet offered plenty of variety, with different themed menus each day, and the service in the dining area was excellent. I would like to give a special mention to some of the staff: Preetyma; Davrishnee, Edinho, Bradley, Stacey and the entertainment team.
Overall, a relaxing stay in a beautiful setting, with well-maintained grounds, good facilities and excellent dining service. Some improvements to room maintenance, consistency of service, and pool facilities would further enhance the experience.
