The Palms is such a popular Sri Lankan resort; it's got that wonderful mix of great location and amenities, and a beautiful beach right on hand. Based near Beruwala, south of the capital Colombo, it's a prime spot. Sightseers will be drawn to Sri Lanka's first recorded Muslim settlement dating back to the 11th century, with its impressive Mosque.

Of course, sun-seekers and relaxers will want to spend as much time as possible on the beach. It's just a short stroll from the hotel out onto the palm-fringed beach. You can try your arm at beach volleyball, take a dip in the clear blue sea, or simply lie back and soak it all up. It's up to you.
With this wonderful location come all the facilities of an exceptional four-star hotel. The air-conditioned twin and double rooms all feature a balcony so that you can really make the most of that sensational view. Each en suite room comes with cable TV, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, minibar (at a fee) and safe.
There's plenty to do in and around Beruwala of course, but the Palms Hotel has plenty to keep you entertained too. There is a fine swimming pool and sports facilities, a gym and Sri Lankan Ayurvedic healing centre. The Palms is a popular 4-star resort right on the beach near the resort of Beruwala. It is arranged so that all rooms overlook the sea and are only a short stroll through the grounds to the palm fringed beach. Good guest facilities at the hotel include an Ayurvedic centre.

A chill experience at The Palms fort Resorts
We had a wonderful experience with Janitah and Himan. They offered us a warm welcome and an excellent Service.
A wonderful hotel and a great long-term partner
As a local tour operator in Sri Lanka, I have been working with this hotel for the past six years and regularly bring my guests here. After my recent stay, I wanted to share how impressed I was to see the hotel after its renovation.
The whole property feels fresh, modern and beautifully renewed. The rooms look as if the hotel has just opened, the reception area is very stylish, and the new beach bar and restaurant are a wonderful addition. The location by the beach makes it especially enjoyable, and the food was excellent throughout our stay.
We recently stayed here for my birthday, and the hotel kindly hosted us for two nights. We had a wonderful time and truly appreciated the warm welcome and attention from the entire team.
A special thank you to the restaurant team — Disna, Sewmini, Sadun and Thisitha. They were incredibly friendly, attentive and welcoming, and made our meals even more enjoyable.
I would also like to mention Hashan, whom I have known through our cooperation for some time. He has always been a wonderful and helpful person and supported me a lot with my guests last year. We were very happy to discover that he is still part of the hotel team.
After six years of cooperation, I am very happy to see the hotel looking better than ever. I will definitely continue recommending it to my guests and supporting the property as a local tour operator.

We would especially like to appreciate Nirosha Sandamali, Guest Relations Officer, who made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. She was extremely kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. She guided us perfectly and provided us with all the information we needed about the hotel and its facilities.
She always handled our requests with a warm smile and was very attentive to our needs. She even helped us take some beautiful pictures, which made our stay even more special. 😊📸
Her English communication skills are brilliant, and she communicated with us so nicely and professionally throughout our stay. We are especially happy to write this review to appreciate her excellent service and dedication.
The hotel meals were delicious, and the restaurant was very clean and comfortable. All the staff members were friendly and doing a great job. The sea view and overall atmosphere of the hotel were absolutely wonderful , a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
