A truly exceptional stay at Anantara Kalutara.

Having experienced a number of luxury properties, what stood out to us here was not simply the beautiful setting or the elegance of the resort, but the quality and consistency of the hospitality. The service was impeccable warm, discreet, highly attentive and, most importantly, genuinely personal. The team took the time to understand our needs and went out of their way to ensure that every aspect of our stay was effortless. We were also very generously given a room upgrade, which was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated.

Our room was beautifully appointed and provided exactly the sense of comfort and tranquillity we were looking for. There was an understated elegance throughout the property that made it particularly easy to unwind.

The culinary experience was equally impressive. The food was exceptional, with beautifully executed dishes, excellent flavours and a level of quality that complemented the overall standard of the resort.

Travelling with a young child, we were especially impressed by the Kids Club. The team there was outstanding, our son was thoroughly entertained and so well cared for that we were able to genuinely relax and enjoy our time together. That kind of thoughtful family hospitality is not something every luxury resort manages to achieve, and it made a significant difference to our experience.

Ultimately, it was the people who made this stay memorable. There was a remarkable attention to detail and a sincere desire to make guests feel valued, rather than simply well accommodated.

We left feeling rested, spoiled and genuinely looked after. Anantara Kalutara has set a very high standard for us, and we will certainly be returning. A beautifully run property with exceptional service and a level of hospitality that feels both refined and heartfelt.

Anantara Kalutara was definitely a breath of fresh air. I had a short stay with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From the welcome to the time of departure the staff was so courteous and hospitable. There were small gestures of well wishes for our anniversary that meant a lot for us and went a long way. The anticipatory service levels offered were exemplary. The food was on another level. Their signature restaurant Spice Traders is a must try. The pizzas at Aqualina their Italian restaurant were superb. If you are looking at a weekend getaway, coming in or going out of Sri Lanka or just having a relaxing few days in Sri Lanka. Look no further. Rest assured Anantara Kalutara will deliver.
