Best Hotel Experience
As a family we have been to lot of 4 and 5 star hotels. However this is one of the best we have been.
One of our best stays
The amout of activities was very impressive, the spa was amazing and the food as definitely a highlight. The spa staff Dr. Tharushi was so kind and so professional, as well as the massage theraphist Rasika and another of who's name I don't remember, they simply made our stay more enjoyable, and on top of that the restaurant staff was exceptional, Kalana, Sashitha and Banukha was trully so kind and welcoming and would go out of their way to make up feel comfortable, The rooms was so clean, and the noise was so calming and quiet.

The genuine warmth and attention to detail from every staff member made us feel like valued guests rather than just another booking.Every meal was beautifully presented and consistently delicious, with a fantastic variety of local and international dishes.We are so glad we could celebrate my mother in law's 90th at this special place. They went above and beyond to make this very special for our entire family.
An Unforgettable Stay at Anantara Kalutara!
We stayed at Anantara Kalutara on 4th July, and it was an incredible experience from the moment we arrived until the day we checked out.
The resort is absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture, peaceful surroundings, and breathtaking views that create the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Our room was spacious, elegant, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
What truly made our visit exceptional was the outstanding hospitality. Every member of the team was warm, friendly, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. Their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our visit.
The dining experience was equally impressive, with delicious food, a great variety of options, and excellent service. The facilities were well maintained, and the overall ambiance of the resort made it the perfect destination to unwind and celebrate a special occasion.
Thank you to the entire Anantara Kalutara team for creating such a memorable experience. We left with wonderful memories and can't wait to return. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious, peaceful, and truly unforgettable getaway in Sri Lanka.

Top notch comfort, luxury, hospitality, devine food and seamless connectivity in one single resort
Conveniently located, Anantara two bedroom pool Villa residence was the perfect spot for a whole family unwind. Hospitality from the start to end was brilliant. We would like to thank all front office personnel including the manager Lashan, our villa host Krish and everyone else who never disappointed us - whenever we needed something they were proactive. There was no need to request a buggy when needed; their active observation was commendable. Dilan not only looked after our house keeping needs, he also made sure we were surprised with his towel animal making skills whenever he cleaned the villa while we were out at meals. Food was truly beyond expectations and we would like to thank the Food and Beverage manager Kalpani for walking an extra mile to keep us satisfied in every possible way each and every time we walked into Olu restaurant. Chef Wishwa and Chef Isuru had worked hard on a special lamprais meal for our lunch and it was simply out of this world. Special thanks goes to Chirantha, Imasha, Ishara, Methmini and all members of the Olu restaurant team for never disappointing us with their exceptional service. We would also like to thank Nuwani and Nadeeshani in the kids club for being thoughtful, caring and such heartwarming girls - there wasn't a single time our little one would agree to leave the kids club with us at any cost. All in all, our holiday in Anantara this year was made memorable by the amiable and the most helpful staff we have ever seen in a hotel and we never had a holiday experience with nothing to complain. So this experience was worth every single penny and we will definitely be going back to Anantara when we are back in Sri Lanka next summer too.
