Paradise
Absolutely phenomenal, from start to finish we were treated like royalty. Such friendly attentive staff and picturesque hotel and grounds. Animation team are out of this world, knew our names within the first day. We joined in with all the games, loved the biggest pool in Sri Lanka. Beach is stunning, rooms clean, food amazing. Pool attendants set up your loungers in the morning which is a lovely touch. Drinks bought to the table in the evenings and at meal times. We don’t want to go home. Would 100% recommend this slice of paradise to everyone.

Excellent hotel and memories
Location is great. It’s not far from the airport and yet also in a quiet location. The staff are beyond lovely. This was our third stay at the hotel and we feel the hotel is excellent value (we have stayed at a few other smaller hotels in the country also for comparison). The rooms are a good size, always cleaned well and the room attendants are friendly, kind and very conscientious. The buffet is varied and the themed nights are a great opportunity to try different cuisine eg Sri Lankan. The beach has strong currents so isn’t swimmable but the breeze is very welcome in the tropical climate and it’s a beautiful sunset view too. Spa is lovely but you can get far lower prices elsewhere. Pool attendants, bar staff and restaurant are friendly and all work extremely hard.
I had a surprise on my last night as our waiter knocked on our door with some colleagues to give me a birthday cake!
The dogs on site are friendly, please don’t let them put you off.
My children didn’t use the organised activities this year but they have in the past and they enjoyed them. All staff are warm and friendly towards the children (we’ve been to hotels in other parts of the world where children are ignored).
