A very nice few days stay
We stayed here as a bit of a stop gap in our honeymoon. We were coming from Singapore to the Maldives and decided to squeeze Srilanka in the middle and our travel agent booked us here before we moved inland for a few days. The hotel is lovely, very nice with a very spacious room. Great house keeping service and very nice food and friendly staff throughout. Could not fault the service. Try the curry- very yummy but spicy! You are right on the beach and there is 2 pools. We also used the pool in Jetwing blue next door. Very good value for money all round. We had 3 days stay (B&B) but the other meals and alcohol were cheap. We also had a couples romantic massage for 2 hours and a trip out to see all the “sites” of negombo, again we couldn’t believe the price. I’d like to mention Ahinsa, who was our lovely tour guide who came with us on our little tour of Negombo. You get a private car and driver too. She took us to several churches, and temples explaining the significance of the things we were seeing inside. She was very knowledgable! She also took us to the river and fish markets. Worth a see for how inexpensive it was, but go in the morning before it is too hot and also take a tissue with perfume on it in your pocket for the smell of the fish market. Overall this stay was perfect for what we needed, but I am glad we then moved inland because negombo itself is not great for a holiday. I didn’t like wandering outside the hotel at night but the hotel itself was perfect for a few days relaxation close to the airport before going somewhere else to see Srilanka fully. However, having said that walk along the beach at night past Jetwing blue and there’s quite a wee night life at the back of the bars in their sort of beer gardens. We then went on to Habarana which was amazing.

Short but sweet
We stayed here for two night as we arrived in Sri Lanka. Perfect place to unwind. The rooms are clean and comfortable especially the beds!
The breakfast was great and the lady on the hopper stand was very smiley!! I love a hopper.
There’s a 50m pool which is great.
I would recommend to stay here.

Good location from airport, staff are very good the main issue here is the damp rooms and the aircon always goes on when you leave the room which seems to exacerbate the damp. Food is delicious and pool area etc very nice

Had a great time
Pools were really good and service was nice.Breakfast was really good aswell.
Best Fish Curry
Feeling so full after a delicious dinner at the Sands Restaurant and Bar, Jetwing Beach Hotel, Negombo. The service was wonderful too. Shout out to the staff - Dimal, Dihithi and Manoj.
