Resort Terra Paraiso

It’s was a terrible experience staying at this property. Ruined the holiday stay completely.

I went to this property around 1-Aug-26. It is not a resort, staff behaves better at a BnB or a hotel.

Issue 1: The guests at the hotel were rowdy and behaved like hooligans openly cursing slurs for hours while drinking and smoking for hours at the pool. No security was available and the manager did not agree to confront or even request them even after we pointed it multiple times.

Issue 2: Rooms were smelly. In one of the room, ac did not work. And it took us multiple rounds to the reception to convince them that ac really had an issue. The person who first came to check was conveniently put to other tasks while ignoring the complaints. After multiple rounds they finally agreed to change the room.

Issue 3: The intercom was not working in one of the rooms. It was easier to order from zomato as north goa has good Zomato coverage than ordering from the hotel restaurant as the intercom was not working. After multiple complaints it was finally fixed.

Issue 4: The hotel staff was rude and careless. We reached hotel and had an infant and a child with us. We were told, that we need to pay 1300 per night extra for child above 5 years even if we were not ordering extra beddings. Mind it we booked 2 super deluxe (large rooms) for 4 adults, a child and an infant. Still we were kept at reception till more amount is

Any fine resort gives special attention to people with infant but the staff here said it is hotel policy and cannot be let go. Pay more or leave as obviously it was non refundable at time of check in. They said talk to the agent as they cannot help.

In my years of travelling to countless resorts and hotels this was the most horrible experience. Later I showed them that while booking from mmt, it is not asking for extra money for child above>5. But all they seeked was money.

Issue 5: Even after paying additional amount for child, when we asked for 3rd towel And water bottle, the staff replied that “2 rakhe toh hain”. Told them that we have paid for 3 persons now, but he did not care.

Issue 6: The pictures from hotel management and reality are very different.

Any resort or decent hotel cares about guest experience. Here the experience was of ill treatment. Not for family or couples.

Lovely stay specially when you have booked the separate independent pool area for special rooms.
