We originally booked 2 nights, but enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it by another 3 nights. The hotel is more of a family resort than a boutique hotel, and while parts of the property are a little tired, it never detracted from our enjoyment. The large swimming pool was excellent, and despite visiting during the off-season there was still a great atmosphere. Because of the monsoon weather, we chose the evening buffet every night, and the food was consistently excellent with plenty of variety. The chefs regularly came over to ask if everything was okay and whether we needed anything else, which was a lovely personal touch. The staff were the real highlight of our stay. Every member of the team was friendly, professional and genuinely welcoming. Every time we walked into the restaurant we were greeted with warm smiles, and after the first day they already knew our usual preferences before we even had to ask. That level of personal service is becoming increasingly rare. A special thank you to Nizam, our housekeeper, whose room was always impeccably cleaned and who was consistently helpful. Thank you also to Dipanjan, Chef Mani, Maira on reception, Deb, and managers Devojeet and Sugan for making us feel so welcome. Although I've mentioned a few names, every member of staff we encountered was excellent and deserves recognition. The location is another big plus—just an easy walk to Candolim Beach, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, bars and shops nearby. We would happily stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing base in North Goa.
