Regular walk-ins
We have been having a excellent experience at Le Meridien - this is my 4th year of my membership and I will keep continuing it till possible - we get amazing service as we have become family there - Chef Bibin I must mention is brilliant in client servicing- a big thank you to the entire team at Le Meridien Cochin.
Vintage 5 star hotel with good facilities & food
Very nice hotel but a very old hotel as well (more than w5 years old) So, rooms are not that great. Megha (manager front desk) gave us an upgrade to premium room which was refurbished. Else, bfast, facilities are all good. Quite close to main area(forum mall is 1 km away) unless you wabt to stay in fort kochi which is the prime area in kochi. Thanks to Megha, Sumit & Amritha from restraunt for taking care of our needs & stay.

At the best 3 stars, definitely not a 5 star!
In the first hour of us arriving: I received about 5-6 calls from reception apologising for the inconvenience caused:
- one hour delay in getting one of our 2 rooms ready, this is despite us arriving one hour later than the published check in time and mentioning it in our prewelcome email to the manager a day before - so the whole premail gesture and all is just a show and means nothing
- The luggage was sent to a room which was initially assigned and then changed so we had to wait to get our luggage even longer - this took few phone calls
- Despite me asking for two keycards, i was given only one then after another phone call, got another card.. which didn’t work, so i had to call again to get another card
- The chair was broken, i almost fell down backwards so had to call again to get a replacement chair
- There was no ottoman, so another call to get it up
- Finally when i went for a shower, there wasn’t a bath mat so another call to get it
That’s my check in experience which only cost me half a lakh rupees! I must say some if the budget hotels near the airport had much better check in experience for a fraction of a price!!
USB ports were not working
Condensation and wetfloors - definite slip risk in the morning, A/c technician came and said nothing wrong and went. See photos below (Room 213 - river view) We were then swapped to the room opposite so have to lose the river view which was one of the highlights of our stay! - photos attached
Exhaust fan in the toilet wasn’t working and hence the walls were building ip mould - definite health risk. I explained all this to the duty manager,who said will give me a call after my checkout but no call received. He did give me an option to go to a suite upstairs(3rd floor) but i declined as i just wanted what i paid for
Beds - not comfortable at all! Very springy and sinks in
Gym was basic - one of the two treadmills was not working
Good things - staff were polite and helpful, breakfast was good
Exceptional Hospitality & Wonderful Care
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. My parents stayed here for 5 nights, and the team took exceptional care of them throughout their stay. From the warm hospitality to the thoughtful service, everything was handled with great care and attention.
It was especially reassuring for me to know that my parents were comfortable and well looked after. The staff went above and beyond to make their stay pleasant and memorable, and my parents truly enjoyed their experience.
A big thank you to the entire team for the outstanding hospitality and for making their 5-night stay so special. We truly appreciate the warmth, kindness, and personal attention extended to them.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent hospitality and a truly memorable stay!

The hotel is super comfortable with luxury backwater view. All staff are hospitable Particularly chef Mr Bibin very helpful in providing delicious food and healthy for my infant So nice!
