Just what we needed after a busy week of sightseeing
After a busy week doing the Golden Triangle tour and then Mumbai, this trip to Whispering Palms was fabulous. From the night on the houseboat, to the excellent spa and the delicious choice of food in the restaurant this hit the spot. We just lay by the pool and totally relaxed. There are so many varieties of birds to see and the gardens are wonderful. The hotel looks tired, it needs updating, the pool area needs maintaining - it's heritage after all. But the 5 stars goes to the ambience, the friendly staff , the nature and wildlife. This is what makes this duchess a wonderful experience.

Blessed with an enviably serene location, this property offers a tranquil retreat away from the clamour of everyday life. The rooms are well-appointed, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the exceptionally courteous and attentive staff, whose hospitality leaves a lasting impression. An excellent stay that delivers remarkable value for money.
Peaceful Stay
Beautiful lake view resort with clean rooms, friendly staff, and a peaceful atmosphere. The view was stunning, especially at sunrise. Great place to relax and unwind—highly recommended.
