Didn’t expect to have a stay this pleasant in Dubai
I’ve stayed at Shangri-La properties in Singapore (City & Sentosa), Jakarta, and most recently Dubai. Dubai stood out most for its genuine guest service and attention to detail.
A special shout-out to Khodarahm, one of the doormen, who was exceptionally helpful, warm, and sincere—never transactional, just genuinely welcoming. He added a memorable touch to my stay.
The gym is also very well equipped, with a spa, sauna, and cold plunge. Breakfast had a great variety of choices, with something for every preference.

From the moment I enter until I reach my room, you make me feel I am not in a hotel, but at home, among my family.
As a frequent guest, what touches me most is not just that you remember my name it is the way you make me feel. With genuine warmth, not as a procedure you were taught, but with sincerity that comes from the heart.
I will not mention names, because to mention one would be unfair to all the others. Every single one of you, from check-in to the Horizon Club Lounge and everywhere in between, you all share the same spirit: you truly enjoy making people happy.
What makes me even more proud of you is how you treat my business guests. You receive them with the same high level of professionalism, making them feel genuinely welcomed and truly well taken care of. You make me proud in front of them.
You make one feel welcome, valued, and at home. That is rare, and that is exceptional.
