A wonderful place to visit
Our stay was great. We were at Dreams Sands for 10 days. The food was delicious. The beach is absolutely beautiful and all of the staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The service was amazing while we were there. Our view from our balcony was stunning to look at everyday. We can’t wait to go back!
Way better than expected!
If you’re looking for a smaller, more intimate all-inclusive resort experience, this is perfect. Much better than I expected and than many of the reviews made it out to be. Great service, great food, great grounds, great location, and overall great experience.
Lots of potential, poorly managed.
Hotel needs a lot of love. It smells of mildew everywhere, ACs leaking (also everywhere). 50% of the time we wanted to go somewhere it was closed. Faucet handles falling off, tables had been broken and glued back together. Pool towels were crunchy and smelled. Every 5 minutes on the beach someone was trying to sell us something. Night time hang out spots were basically the teeny hotel lobby bar (with one bartender) and a hallway bar. Management is poor. We weren't asked at check out how the stay was, just given a $600 bill that wasn't even itemized! Wait staff was excellent but there were never enough bartenders anywhere. Shout out to Merlin at the spa who was amazing and the best thing about the whole experience.
Amazing beach and staff
We just return home from our stay at Dreams Sand Cancun over the Labour Day long weekend. Our experience was wonderful from start to finish. The hotel is very good, well maintained, and comfortable. The beach is absolutely amazing and we spent hours enjoying the beautiful water. Most of all, the staff made our trip special. Everyone was incredibly friendly, warm and attentive. We want to say thank you to Chef Jesus, Raul, Ricardo, Jorge, Mauritio, Argentina who provided exceptional service and made our family feel so welcome during our holiday. Thank you again to the entire team for such a relaxing and memorable vacation.
Explorer’s Kids Club/Entertainment
From the moment we arrived, Explorers Kids Club gave my son a safe and welcoming place to enjoy his own vacation. As a parent who is admittedly nervous about leaving my child anywhere—even in the States—I felt completely at ease here. Flor, Sharon, Cynthia, and Mariel were wonderful, along with Angie from Entertainment and the rest of the team. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made us feel comfortable from the beginning.
The staff was very thoughtful about keeping the children safe, engaged, and included. They were aware of my son’s allergies and went out of their way to find dairy-free snacks for him so he never felt left out 🥹. That meant a lot to me and showed how much care they put into what they do.
The biggest compliment is that my son didn’t want to leave! He had so much fun that he was excited to go back, which gave us the opportunity to relax and enjoy our time as well. I would absolutely trust them with my child again!
