Beautiful resort with thoughtful luxury touches
I had a wonderful solo stay at Hyatt Zilara Cancun. My Ocean View Junior Suite was beautiful, and I loved the Jacuzzi tub, double sinks, robe, slippers, and well-stocked bathroom. They provided generously sized toiletries, a toothbrush and toothpaste, a makeup-removal towel, a shower cap, and other thoughtful necessities. Housekeeping came twice daily, which I greatly appreciated.
The entire property smelled amazing, including the lobby, restaurants, and bathrooms. The resort also had direct beach access, plenty of seating, several restaurants and bars, a speakeasy, and a fun photo booth.
My only suggestions would be to make the daily activity schedule available in the rooms or through an app, provide more straws in the restaurants, and offer clearer options for solo guests interested in the hibachi experience. Overall, it was a beautiful, relaxing resort with thoughtful amenities that made my stay feel special.

Stunning chill resort.
Absolutely stunning resort! Food, service and views are outstanding. The staff is kind, welcoming and go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Special shout out to Jonathan and Camila who run the fantastic gym and fitness areas! Best food I’ve had at an all-inclusive. No reservations were needed except for the experiences. Adelita was so fun and the speakeasy was quaint with unique drinks and a fantastic singer!
Spa massage was so relaxing. Highly recommend booking a service for a day out of the sun.
Chill, relaxing vibe with plenty of fun if you want. The white party was amazing. Don’t miss it.
First time All-Inclusive, great experience
Best place ever, would 1000% go again. Service is crazy good and they clean the beach every day. Genny, Alfredo, David, Elizabeth, Juan, Ricardo, and Cinthia gave us the best service ever. Always tended to our needs and were super attentive. The rooms are beautiful with a balcony view overlooking the ocean with a hot tub as well. The atmosphere is perfect as it felt like luxury was ensured by the decorations and the people greeting you everywhere you go. I couldn’t even hear any noise from other guests as I was in my room since the walls are stone, allowing for a peaceful night of rest. Overall would 10/10 recommend going here to others.
Vacation
This was our first trip back since the renovations. The property is gorgeous and I love the upgrades. Service was amazing. However there were a few bumps. When we first checked in they gave us a choice for a bottle of liquor. It took 3 days to receive it after consistently asking about it. The buffet has the same recycled food everyday. Never changed once while we were there for the entire week. No food near the pool. They allow you to get a to go box from the buffet to bring to the pool. Therefore you are forced to eat the same food everyday. The lobby is extremely hot to the point where you cannot enjoy a show for to long. The speakeasy was a let down. No one came to get us like they instructed. We had to ask someone to take us there for our reservation. The secret code was never asked about and the singer walked away as soon as we walked in. The aqua cycling class was awesome. The massages were great. They should have kept the magic boxes. Setting all the room service dishes outside was annoying and an eyesore for the resort. We will probably come back but please fix these issues.
Great service and food!
This is the only all-inclusive resort I’ve actually really enjoyed the food and service. Abimael was so kind and attentive, and provided wonderful service in the pool areas.
