Hyatt Ziva Cancun
My husband and I spent a week at Hyatt Ziva Cancun in early September 2026. Highly recommend for its pristine and abundant amenities including 3 main pools, 2 beaches with turquoise waters. We enjoyed the gym, 6 restaurants, salon and spa, gift soft, jewelry store, nightly entertainment. It felt like a town or little community. The service is the best we ever received in the Caribbean. That being said, it is geared somewhat to families with kids. However, the Turquoise Tower offers adults-only rooms, and access to a rooftop pool with no kids. We were there 6 days before we had the desire to explore beyond the resort, since there was so much to offer. And my husband and I generally do go off resort in most cases to explore food, shopping, and excursions, but we were content and entertained here longer than most resorts. Also, we rented a Cabana for this first time, and it was heavenly, they offered cold towels, massages, coconuts with water, and personal waiter services throughout the day, and the price was reasonable.
Great Stay and Service at the Ziva!
What an amazing stay at the Hyatt Ziva! The service is top notch! Anyone we came in contact with was there to please and serve with a smile. The food was great from breakfast omelettes and quesadillas made fresh to habaneros the fish was so fresh! The spa was amazing we got a couples massage and had a whole hydrotherapy session that was included that was such a great way to get ready for the massage.

Outstanding Chef
Hyatt Ziva has always been a favorite of mine for many reasons. The colors of the ocean cannot be beat. The staff is always outstanding. This last trip, sous chef Monse Guzman went above and beyond. She treated us like royalty. Her dishes were out of this world!

The resort we keep coming back to
We just got back from our 4th trip to Hyatt Ziva Cancun, and it remains our favorite resort for our family vacation. We tried multiple other all inclusive, but this one beats all of them. We love how It’s the perfect mix for adults and kids. We have never felt the need to even leave the resort and we stay a week each time. Our girls absolutely love the kids club, activities around the resort, toys in every restaurant. My husband and I love the food. Fish tacos from habaneros and sushi from moongate are our FAVORITE. The views are beautiful, the beach is stunning, there are nightly shows and overall just the best vibe. The absolute backbone of this resort are the employees. Hands-down, the friendliest people we have ever met. They are so genuine and truly care about us having an amazing experience. We’ve gotten to know so many of them each time and it’s really cool to see some of the same employees that were there on our first trip 5 years ago still working there! Valeria has been our “at your request” agent for the past 5 years helping us book cabanas, special celebrations and experiences. She’s an absolute angel. We want to give a special shout out to Elliot, Sarai, Julianna, Julio, Omar and Julian for being the most amazing servers at the beach and the pool. Daniel and Carlos for the assistance ans service with our cabanas, Ariel at habaneros and the general manager Roberto going out of his way to make this trip extra special for us. Our girls also absolutely loved Marina at the kids club. This place truly feels like a second home to us and we are already in the midst of planning our 5th trip!
Birthday Celebration
We stayed at Ziva from Thursday to Monday. The biggest impact were the employee's who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Beginning with our Mayordomos: Monse, Emmanuel Y Armando. They elevated our stay that we didn't want our visit to end. Monse, Emmanuel and Armando made all the arrangements for decorating our room for my birthday. The decoration were so special and made our time unforgettable. Luis who took our baggage was so kind. Victor from the spa helped us plan our 2 Spa days. Paty and one other young man who had worked there a long time gave us such a great service at the Spa. Veronica and Vanessa gave us our massages and our massages were awesome! Alvaro from the Punta Vista Bar gave us great service. Enrique from Habaneros gave us great service. Lazaro from the Tradewinds gave us great service. Armando from Lorenzo's gave us great service. Edgar gave us awesome beachside service and even moved beach chairs for us. Edgar's english was awesome and made us feel so comfortable at the beach. We want to make a special shout to the staff at La Bastille for providing us the Best Food Service. Luciano, Genaro, Alejandro and Chef Ricardo at La Bastille were overall the best and friendliest staff we met. Luciano and Genaro made my Birthday celebration special with the special dessert and singing Happy Birthday. We met housekeeping one night and she was so friendly. I cant recall her name but there was a card that said Maria Jose. We were in room 1111. They made us dessert table side and even had a candle lit up for me on my birthday. All the food at La Bastille was very delicious so we at there two nights in a row. We highly recommend eating at La Bastille. There were so many great baristas at the coffee bar and Vian was especially helpful. We liked the security around the resort. We liked the beaches because they were so clean and clear. We liked the upstairs infinity pool. We liked the international dance show. Our room in Turquoise Tower was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was a comfortable size. The view from the balcony was amazing and nice and quiet. We used our hot tub on the balcony and our mayordomos set it up for us every day.
