We had a fantastic stay at this resort with our group of 16. A special thank you to Carlos Cifuentes, the Restaurant Manager, and his amazing team. Their kindness and professionalism truly made our vacation special. They helped us book all of the à la carte restaurants, making everything easy for our large group. The à la carte restaurants were all excellent, with delicious food and outstanding service. We were especially impressed by how seriously the staff handled food allergies. They have an excellent understanding of cross-contamination and took every precaution to keep our group safe. At the buffet, the children and teens with allergies were able to choose exactly what they wanted. The chef then prepared their meals in the kitchen using the same items they had selected, avoiding any risk of cross-contamination from the buffet. The care, attention to detail, and exceptional service from Carlos and his team made all the difference.

Come here for a blast
The ambiance and activities were beyond my expectations. My family and I had a blast. The terrific animators and all the other awesome staff members made our vacation memorable. However, there were two señioritas who were more than just perfect. SARA & ABIGAIL ! “ Ellas son las mejores”
Experience to repeat
Great Resort, with excellent hotel and gym facilities. And great, and very involved and polite staff. An special thaks to the staff in the gym, Ricardo, Rafael and Alex for your training and directed courses.
Beware….Terrible Customer Service!!
We were to check in on July 20 but due to a flight cancellation we were unable to arrive until the next day so we called the resort to ensure our reservation was available. When we arrived the next day we were told our reservation didn’t match the reservation in their booking system. We paid for a swim-up room which was indicated by Vio.com on our reservation receipt but the resort said that wasn’t accurate and we needed to have the booking site contact the resort. We did that and after chatting with the booking site for 30 minutes as they spoke with manager, Alberto Salas, we were told that no one called which wasn’t true. The truth was they didn’t have a swim-up available as confirmed and he was very rude towards us throughout the whole process. Needless to say, as a group of 15 traveling for leisure, we will never return to their resorts ever again!

Charming Grand Sunset Princess.
We had a fantastic stay at the Grand Sunset Princess in Playa del Carmen. The resort is beautiful, the rooms were clean and well maintained, and the entire property feels very welcoming and relaxing. One of the highlights was definitely the food. The buffet offered a great variety of fresh and tasty options every day, and the specialty restaurants were excellent. The drinks were also very good and consistently prepared. What made the biggest difference was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and attentive, always willing to help and make sure guests were enjoying their stay. Their service truly elevated the experience. Overall, the Grand Sunset Princess offers excellent value, great food and drinks, and outstanding customer service. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen!
