Amazing Experience! We'll Be Back!
My husband and I as well as 4 of our friends recently stayed here for 5 days during the first week of September, and from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was amazing! Arriving to the resort it was even more beautiful than the pictures. We were immediately greeted with refreshing towels and escorted to check in where we were given delicious cucumber lemonade. Check in was fast and easy and then we were escorted to our very spacious room. The grounds are immaculate and each and every employee that we encountered was extremely friendly and gracious. Room service was prompt every time. We were there during the off-season so the resort was not crowded and there were no issues getting seats immaculate at every restaurant. Our group particularly enjoyed Asiana. My husband and I loved the breakfast buffet and had incredible service from Mario, as well as Jose who made a reservation for us for the Steak and Lobster dinner on the roof overlooking the ocean. I highly recommend! We had a blast at the foam party and would absolutely do it again! All of the activities around the pool were a lot of fun. The nightly shows in the lobby are incredible and definitely worth watching. As lifelong SoCal residents I will say the traditional Mexican food on site was not the best, but we made a dinner trip over to El Fogon a few blocks away to get our fix. Our group enjoyed the trip so much that we are already making plans to return the same time next year, with a few additional days added, as it was so hard to leave!
Great holiday.
Just returned from Hyatt Vivid and we had a great 2 weeks . The staff make this hotel they are so friendly and hardworking. Did not get names but staff in the restaurant are helpful and efficient. Erick was our pool waiter and was amazing. There were only 2 resterauunts open each evening and we did not like the menu at La Casona so were limited for choice. The entertainment in the lobby was excellent with very good visiting acts but it finishes at 10.30 each evening and we would have liked it to have lasted longer. The rooms are spacious and have a large jacuzzi bath which we did not use and would have preferred more clothes storage space. Overall a great hotel.

Mixed experience
Loved the staff, entertainment, pool and rooms but… I had food poisoning from the asian restaurant and the hotel describes having 7 restaurants- only 2 were open for dinner at night a few of the 7 never opened at all. The hotel describes the Rincon restaurant as having a sea view (never opened when we were there and it hasn’t got a sea view). The seaweed on the beach most mornings was really bad, they did do a reasonable job in trying to keep it clear, the excavators working on the beach and loading lorries made the beach experience poor (no usable beach directly outside the hotel, most of the beach sun-beds are on a slope). Yes I would probably go again but have really mixed views - upset that the hotel states / promotes they have 11 bars and restaurants but some never open.

Not perfect but FANTASTIC!
This resort is SUCH a good location if you are interested in exploring the city. It is steps away from fifth avenue which is a very long, foot-traffic only, tourist shopping street! The resort itself is slightly dated but overall it's very clean and well taken care of. The staff are PHENOMENAL! The only downside is that the beds aren't that comfortable... It has two pools which is a very nice touch so that you have a choice between one that's a busier party pool with the swim up bar and the other that is more quiet with a bar right next to it.

Disappointing All-Inclusive Experience—Limited Dining & Poor Gluten-Free Options
When considering booking an all-inclusive property, I strongly recommend calling the hotel directly beforehand to confirm the current status of the property and its dining options.
We were disappointed to discover that the hotel was transitioning into low season and approximately two-thirds of the restaurants were closed during our stay. This significantly limited the dining experience and was not what we expected when booking an all-inclusive resort.
The situation was even more challenging because I follow a gluten-free diet. Despite communicating this need, it took multiple calls involving Delta Vacations and hotel management before gluten-free products were brought in so I could have a meal I could safely and comfortably enjoy.
I understand that resort amenities and restaurant hours can change seasonally, but these closures and the limited gluten-free options should have been clearly communicated before booking. Guests considering this property—particularly those with dietary restrictions—should confirm restaurant availability and food options directly with the hotel before making their reservation.
