Ocean Riviera Paradise El Beso

The grounds are beautiful, food is a hit and miss - Ribeye at the steakhouse was thin and chewy. The flank steak was edible but overall not even close to North American standard. Food at blue moon was amazing and the highlight of this trip. Waiters at buffet would give you a list of names to provide good reviews and wait until you publish the reviews before they leave your table. I suspect the high 4.7 review on google mainly come from this high pressure from the waiters in the buffet area. I booked 2 rooms, the room I had drained properly without much issue, but my in laws room have water flood to the entrance hallway after they showered. I am glad they didn’t slip and fall during the trip. Since the hotel is more on the budget side I cannot complain much and still think it with the money I paid for. It is certifiably not a luxury resort but if you lower the expectations you can still have a good time and enjoy what it has to offer.

We recently stayed at Ocean Riviera Paradise with my elderly parents (both in their early 80s), and our experience in the Privilege section was wonderful from start to finish. Traveling with senior parents can sometimes be challenging, but the Privilege amenities and dedicated care made everything smooth and stress-free. The standout highlight of our entire trip was our butler, Alan. He was simply exceptional. Alan checked in on us consistently throughout each day, making sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. Whenever my parents had a question or a specific request, Alan responded immediately and accommodated every single need with genuine warmth, patience, and professionalism. His attentiveness gave our family complete peace of mind, allowing my parents to truly relax and enjoy their vacation. If you are traveling with elderly family members, I highly recommend upgrading to the Privilege rooms—and if you are lucky enough to have Alan as your butler, you will be in the best possible hands.
