The buffet La Laguna, has been the BEST buffet i’ve been to. I’ve been on many trips to Dominican and on cruises, and this one has the BEST FOOD. The manager David is super friendly and treated me and my family very well.
Zero stars if I could
Zero stars if I could. I travel to Mexico often and this is, hands down, the worst property I’ve ever set foot in. Calling this a resort is an insult to actual resorts.
The rooms were dirty. The beach was filthy and reeked so badly we couldn’t use it. The entire property looks abandoned by anyone who cares — worn down, neglected, and nothing like the photos.
The service somehow managed to be worse than the conditions. Staff acted like guests were a burden. Every request was ignored or brushed off. “Customer service” does not exist here.
And when we escalated to management, the manager Mireia made everything worse — dismissive, rude, and completely uninterested in fixing a single thing. Management sets the tone, and it shows in every corner of this place.
It got so bad we checked out early and ate the cost, because staying was worse than losing the money. That should tell you everything.
Do not book here. Riviera Maya has dozens of resorts at this price point that actually respect their guests. This is not one of them.
Amazing
We had an amazing stay! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and relaxing, but what really made our experience special was the exceptional service. Sebastian and Isabelle were both incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with a smile. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. Their professionalism and friendly attitude truly made our vacation even more enjoyable. Thank you, Sebastian and Isabelle, for making our stay so memorable. We would definitely come back!
