Fabulous honeymoon
Had a amazing time in a amazing place . The service is fantastic and the steak house and Italian is a delight . Special mentions to the waiter gabino . He was so attentive and very professional at his job . And also helped us with any dietary issues . Also Gabriel in Frank and Lola's was also amazing . It was our perfect place to have our honeymoon . Will return 100%

Very good
A lovely hotel, which is only 3 years old. Rooms and communal areas are kept spotless by the housekeeping team. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Special mention to Fidel, restaurant manager in the Boathouse, who leads by example, and to Humberto who served us around the pool. It's worth highlighting that not all food places are open all the time, though it was "low" season. The Italian (booking required) was outstanding, and easily our favourite. The JWB steakhouse food was nothing special and lacking in presentation. Our room was in the top corner so we didn't hear any noise from the entertainment, though during the day the bottom pool music was unnecessarily loud. Overall, would we stay again? Yes.
Anniversary trip
We had the best anniversary vacation!! Karen, Isaac and Armando were our butlers and they took great care of us! Check-in was quick and easy. The resort is well maintained and beautiful! We stayed in room 174 swim-up and we basically had that corner to ourselves. Housekeeping was very thorough and kept our room exceptionally clean. The food in all the restaurants was delicious even room service! Thank you for the memories!! We will definitely be back!
Fantastic stay
We have just returned from a fantastic stay and overall had a brilliant holiday. The hotel itself is gorgeous, very well maintained, and in a lovely setting.
We stayed in Room 409, which was in an excellent location with easy access to the pool and a lovely pool and sea view. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy throughout our stay. Daily housekeeping was excellent, with fresh towels and clean bed linen provided regularly. Check-in was quick and easy, and our room was ready when we arrived.
The only minor annoyance was the Vacation Club representatives. For the first couple of days, we received notes under our door inviting us to attend presentations, but apart from that, there was no pressure or hassle.
We ate several times at the Boathouse restaurant, which offered a great variety of food with plenty of choice for everyone. The only downside was the temperature of the food, which was often lukewarm. We tried visiting at different times of the day, but dinner items still lacked heat.
The Italian restaurant was excellent and one of our favourite evening dining experiences. The bread and oils served to start were delicious, and there was a great selection of dishes on the menu. Booking through the app was quick and easy, making it a hassle-free experience. We were less impressed with the Steakhouse. While the food was decent, it didn't quite match the standard of the other restaurants we visited.
The pool area was lovely and always kept very clean. There were quite a lot of ants around the grounds, but they never caused us any problems and we didn't see them anywhere else around the hotel. The pool toilets were spotless and clearly cleaned regularly. One of the best things was that there were no sunbed wars. No matter what time of day we went to the pool, there were always plenty of beds available to choose from.
The poolside entertainment was excellent. The entertainment team worked incredibly hard and were enthusiastic throughout. The pool itself was clean for most of our stay, although on our final day (Saturday) it appeared quite murky, with a noticeable amount of debris and dead insects floating in the water.
We knew before arriving that there wasn't a beach directly at the hotel, although it's worth noting that the hotel still advertises one.
The Salted Rim Bar was one of the highlights of our stay. The staff work incredibly hard and make outstanding cocktails. We particularly enjoyed the flame show, which was great fun and very entertaining.
Licence to Chill quickly became our favourite lunch spot. The food selection was amazing, and everything we tried was fresh, tasty, and well prepared. It was the perfect place to relax during the day and grab a great lunch.
We also tried LandShark for food. The meals were tasty and there was a good selection available, although service was quite slow. However, the evening bar service was excellent. Laura deserves special mention for her outstanding service. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure our drinks were topped up throughout the evening.
The entertainment across the resort was very good. The country music performers were talented, although they only sang a few country songs before adapting their set to suit the audience and turning it into more of a Mexican-themed evening. The duo performing on Thursday night, particularly the young female singer, were absolutely outstanding and really got the crowd involved.
The Mexican Independence Day celebrations were amazing and a real highlight of our trip. There were lots of lovely independent stalls selling traditional Mexican goods, which created a fantastic atmosphere. Some of the stallholders were a little pushy when trying to make sales, but it didn't take away from the overall experience.
One aspect we weren't quite sure about was the points system that could be used at Joe Merchant's. We found the selection fairly limited, with mostly canned beers, soft drinks, and a few snack options available. We did love the coffee and cakes, which were excellent, but we struggled to use our full 17,500 points during the week. Personally, we would have preferred a few extra bottles of water in the room instead of points for soft drinks. That said, it was easy enough to grab drinks from one of the bars and take them back to the room.
Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel offers excellent facilities, friendly staff, great entertainment, and a relaxing atmosphere. Despite a few minor issues, we had such a fantastic time that we have already decided we'll be back next year. We would happily recommend it to others and are already looking forward to returning.

Everything was amazing. Our Butler's Issac and Armando were the best!! They took care of everything so we did not have to stress or worry about a thing. We will definitely be asking for them every time we go.
