The Anvaya Beach Resorts Bali

Without a doubt, The Anvaya Beach Resort is one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. It excels not only in its stunning visual design but also in its unbeatable location. Despite being situated right off a bustling and lively street in Kuta, you hear absolutely none of the outside noise once you step onto the property. It is remarkably tranquil—it truly feels as though you are the only people on the entire island, tucked away in your own private sanctuary.

The level of service here is simply outstanding. The hotel staff, without exception, were incredibly kind, warm, and accommodating. There was never a single minute where we felt overlooked or uncared for. Every time we returned to the hotel, the staff in the lobby welcomed us back with such genuine warmth that it felt like coming home. We got along particularly well with Elis from the lobby team, whose hospitality was wonderful.

I must also give a massive shoutout to the Housekeeping Manager, Edy. He is simply fantastic—the kind of person you can completely rely on to go above and beyond for guests. Every little special request we had was either instantly fulfilled, or he immediately found a way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The housekeeping team as a whole deserves special praise; they work incredibly fast and maintain an immaculate standard of cleanliness throughout the resort.

As a family, we were especially impressed by how wonderful the staff is with children. Our daughter was thrilled every single time we came back to our room because the housekeeping team had magically folded different animal figures out of towels on her little bed. It was such a special touch that brought her so much joy. The Kids Club is also exceptionally well-equipped and is an absolute must-recommend for anyone traveling with little ones. Another detail we absolutely loved was the daily evening delivery of sweet treats to our room door. We found this incredibly charming, and it quickly became a cherished part of our evening routine.

When it comes to dining, the hotel continues to impress. Whether it was during breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the restaurant was always pleasantly busy, yet the food was consistently fresh, delicious, and perfectly restocked—they never ran out of anything.

The outdoor facilities are equally spectacular. The pool area is visually stunning, beautifully maintained, and impeccably clean, offering a great place to relax.

In every single aspect, I have to give this resort a resounding and clear recommendation. I have become a massive fan, and if we ever find ourselves back in Bali, I would not hesitate to book this hotel again in a heartbeat.

I had an excellent boxing session with Gusti Lanang. He is a fantastic coach—very knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and incredibly talented. I highly recommend training with him.

He truly made my afternoon enjoyable, and thanks to him I had a great workout. People like him put a smile on your face and make the experience unforgettable.

Our stay at The Anvaya was by far the worst hotel experience of our entire Bali trip. Ironically, it was also the most expensive hotel we stayed at, making it even more disappointing. It was definitely not worth the price.

The hotel feels old and poorly maintained. Even though it was built only about 10 years ago, everything already feels worn out. Many surfaces, including our room, felt sticky and unclean, giving the whole place a dirty and uncomfortable atmosphere.

To make matters worse, there were strange noises coming from the ceiling in our room throughout the night. The sounds made it difficult to fall asleep and took away any chance of having a relaxing stay.

The breakfast buffet was another major disappointment. While the selection was huge, the hygiene standards were lacking. There were flies everywhere, many tables were not cleaned promptly, and it was often difficult to find clean plates. The omelette I was served was undercooked and sloppy. I felt sick afterward, although I can’t say for certain that the omelette was the cause.

Overall, this hotel did not come close to the standard you would expect for the price. We had much better experiences at other hotels in Bali that cost significantly less. Unfortunately, we would not recommend staying here.
