Perfect in paradise
The location based in the forest overlooking the ravine was magical. The hotel was relatively quiet which suited us perfectly. The room had everything that was required although an additional electrical socket by the table would have been a bonus. Being in room 228 we were slightly away from the restaurant and lobby which meant it was very quiet. The room was spotless and the staff could not have been more efficient and friendly. As a base for exploring the area it was perfect

We will be back
We stayed at premium luxury resorts throughout our time in Bali, and Alila was one of the best.
We split four nights across two villas and both had their own character. The Forest Edge Villa is enormous, and you can spend the afternoon lounging around watching monkeys play in the trees. The Valley View Villa gives you the sunset every evening, whether you want it from the patio or from bed.
The staff are what made the stay. We are particular travellers and had a few unusual requests, and every single person was happy to work with us, including helping us rework our itinerary. On our last morning we had a very early flight and they packed us breakfast boxes containing the exact things we had eaten at breakfast on the previous three days. Nobody asked us what we wanted. They had simply been paying attention.

Jungle beauty
Beautiful jungle location with an abundance of jungle wild life. Monkeys come the the balcony sometimes. The bed has amazing views of the jungle and it's wild life. The infinity pool is amazing

Quiet and Luxurious
Absolutely glorious experience! Everything was so clean and easy. Very quiet when I went in early September. Putu at the front desk was so incredibly helpful and welcoming! Highly recommend
A phenomenal hotel and experience
Thank you Trailfinders - another phenomenal hotel. Isolated and restful. Superb staff, wonderful food and a stunning location. Hotel rooms are excellent, especially if you book a villa - lots of space, a balcony over looking the valley and facilities lavish! If you want a quiet but lavish break - here is the place for you. Great for families too.
