Holiday Inn Resort Samui Bophut Beach

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Samui Bophut Beach and I genuinely cannot fault it. From arrival to departure, everything was exceptional.

We were welcomed at check in by Su, who had the warmest, beaming smile and made us feel instantly welcome. Check in was quick and efficient, the kids received welcome gifts and our luggage was taken to our room almost immediately.

I had requested a ground floor room and we were given the perfect location right beside the pool. The room was fantastic, modern, beautifully presented, comfortable, clean and very user friendly.

The entire resort was outstanding. The location is fantastic, the property is modern and immaculate and the kids’ club and activities were brilliant. Our children absolutely loved it.

The staff throughout the resort were another highlight. The teams at both the pool bar and the bar near the beach were consistently warm, friendly and attentive. A special mention also has to go to Sam, the F&B Manager, who was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. He genuinely cared about our happiness and made a real effort to ensure we were enjoying every part of our time at the resort.

Breakfast was exceptional every morning, with a huge range of fresh, beautiful food and plenty of healthy options. Everything was constantly replenished, incredibly efficient and we never had to wait. It was easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we have experienced.

Even checkout was seamless, quick, friendly and efficient.

We travelled as three generations, my husband and I, our two young children and my parents, and all six of us loved this hotel. We are very well travelled and have stayed in hotels and resorts around the world and this property genuinely stands out.

The service, facilities, cleanliness, location, food, rooms and overall atmosphere were exceptional. We thoroughly loved our stay and would return without hesitation. A genuine 5 star experience.

Fantastic location on the Fisherman Village strip, opposite a beach and next to Coco Tams fire show; so close to the night market too. Clean, with helpful and friendly staff. A fantastic breakfast and good ‘kids eat free’ programme. Our family room was a great size and we loved being on the ground floor opposite the lawn. The rooms were cleaned daily and the air con was great. The hotel cost more than others in Koh Samui but I think it’s worth every penny for what you get. Just book early, as my extended family left it too late and the price doubled- the latter price would have been too high for what it is. This hotel definitely gets busier into August. There were queues for breakfast towards the end of our stay but only if you left it until the last hour. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for guests without children as it is so perfect for kids, they’re everywhere and the pool is busy with kids having fun. All staff were exceptionally helpful, kind and friendly- couldn’t fault a single one. Special mention to the lovely bar tender at the pool bar for going above and beyond to make his guests feel welcome.
