Fabulous experience
We booked a suite room as my other half likes plenty of space…the room was very large and very clean……the king size bed was extremely comfortable and clean towels were provided every day….the room had a minibar and fridge which was handy….the breakfast was extensive and catered for everyone’s needs….the staff were exceptional and very polite and went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after….the beach was right on our doorstep with plenty of sun loungers…..I liked their rule of not putting towels on sun beds to reserve a sun lounger……top marks for this! The surroundings were well maintained tidy and clean…..the location of this hotel was brilliant just a few steps away from the hustle and bustle of the bars and restaurants but also not in a noisy area of the strip….this hotel was brilliant and extremely well run…..there was nothing I could pick fault with…..you would not be disappointed staying here!

Great stay- amazing personnel
Dara Samui is located at the beach, giving it quite the view at night. The food at DaraSerene is always made fresh and their daily catch of fish is amazing. Nearly every evening they have a different theme. Their personnel is attentive and if you want something less spicy they will gladly oblige. Their selection of wine is great as well. Atmosphere is as the name mentions serene and calm!
Great adults only hotel
We had a lovely stay at Dara Samui Resort. The rooms are really nice and spacious, and the location is fantastic — right on the beach with beautiful, shallow waters that are perfect for relaxing in.
One of the highlights was the complimentary cocktail hour at sunset for all the guests, which was such a lovely touch and created a really nice atmosphere.
My only feedback would be around the room numbering, which could be a little more logical. We had several people staying in different rooms and it was surprisingly difficult to work out who was where!
Overall though, we had a great time and I’d definitely recommend Dara Samui as a lovely place to stay.

The best value for a Adult hotel in Chaweng.
This was our second stay at the Dara, the last time was 9 yrs ago and I have to say it has not changed its perfect the whole hotel is well furnished, the location is at the start of Chaweng so not in the thick of it with top restaurants within a 100m and small markets selling everything you would want for gifts. the pool at the hotel is a Welcome place to cool down. the beach is not massive but ok for sunbathing, there are plenty of beds around the pool. Chaweng is busy, however renting a motorbike is a must and explore the island, this was our 14th visit to the island and we will be returning next year. My special thanks goes out to Mass the manager last week when the disruption in the UK with the flights, my wife missed the original flight due to illness when she was able to fly Mass personally sorted out my wife's flight to Samui after she was stuck at Heathrow and her was flight cancelled. it helped to speak to Thai airways direct which she did. Thank you Mass. I must also speak about the staff at the Dara and everyone who works there are absolutely Wonderfull and go beyond what is expected and are faultless in carrying out there duties. Can't wait to return next year. Thank you Dara for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful stay
Wonderful stay, amazing staff
Stayed 3 nights at Dara Samui in September as a solo traveler. From the first minute the team made me feel welcome. Mas and her staff went above and beyond and even surprised me with a beautiful room upgrade, which really made my stay special.
The resort is right on Chaweng Beach, the room was spacious and spotless, and breakfast was great. It's an adults-only hotel so the atmosphere is calm and relaxed, perfect after a few busy days.
Special thanks to Mas and the whole team for their warmth and attention. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
