A wonderful holiday!
We had a wonderful holiday at Meliá Koh Samui. The location was perfect for us, beachfront on Choeng Mon Bay which is a beautiful powdery white sandy beach with calm, crystal clear, shallow, warm, turquoise waters. We ate in the hotel’s excellent beachfront ‘Breeze’ restaurant which served excellent food and offered evening entertainment including fire shows, live music and Traditional Thai dancing. The team at the restaurant, led by Baw, were all so welcoming and friendly which added to our enjoyment. There were a good selection of restaurants and bars a short walk along the beach either side of the hotel which were lovely- we particularly enjoyed eating at ‘Pi Samui’ and having cocktails at the Ocean View bar. We staying in two rooms, a level swim up room 711 and then a level boat suite 13 with a sea view. Both were lovely but we preferred the boat suite because of its location. The beds were extremely comfortable in both. I would recommend having a level room as it gave you food and drinks throughout the daytime and early evening at no extra cost, in an exclusive restaurant next to the main pool with a great balcony area overlooking the beach, and we were well looked after by the very friendly, welcoming level team. The hotel itself provided a useful taxi service and a good selection of organised trips. However we preferred to do our own thing so used our grab app to book our taxi to and from the airport, which was very reasonably priced (400 bht each way.) We also used a grab taxi to visit the shops, bars, restaurants night market Fisherman’s Village which we really enjoyed. We similarly really enjoyed visiting the Big Buddha temple and nearby temples at Wat Plai Laem. Lastly, we did an organised half day trip to an elephant sanctuary through their website which was a highlight of our visit to Koh Samui! We loved our holiday to Koh Samui, the hotel and its staff were excellent, the beach was beautiful and the food was wonderful. We would love to go back and would thoroughly recommend this place to couples and families.

An unforgettable stay – we will definitely be back!
From the very first moment until the end of our stay, we were looked after in the most wonderful way. Every question and request was handled with genuine warmth, patience and professionalism. The care was incredibly personal and attentive throughout the entire day, from early morning until late in the evening.
What touched me most was the loving way everyone interacted with my children. They made us all feel truly welcome, comfortable and special. We could not have wished for better care or a more dedicated team.
A very special thank you to Maya, Zena, Matteo, Pink, Kim and Locknam – you were absolutely amazing and made our holiday unforgettable.
We felt completely at home at the Meliá and will most definitely be returning. This was certainly not our last stay!
Incredible holidays
Koh Samui, perfect family staying. The hotel crew are incredibly helping and friendly. Specially Van and Rainbow The only thing is we got a boat suite upgrade but we had to change because is not kid friendly because of stairs. The new room was perfect. The hotel is so nice but begins to be a bit old. Food is amazing
