Great hotel in great location
We stayed at the am samui for 5 nights and found the hotel met our expectations. The hotel was located in a great location, 2 mins from the street with bars and restaurants and 5 mins to the beach. The staff were really helpful and friendly as can be expected, and the pools were really clean and not crowded (not sure if that was due to the time of year). The only slight negative was the balcony which wasn't too enjoyable to sit out at due to the screening used to block the outside and this also made it quite dark as there was only a small light available. Would recommend if staying in Lamai.

Amazing visit
This is my 3rd visit to the Am Samui palace hotel. The hotel is centrally located, clean, tidy and very comfortable. The food is also good.
The hotel is always very quiet unfortunately on this visit I could hear music from one of the neighbouring clubs so did not get much sleep for two nights. However i reported it to reception and the issue was resolved.
I will be returning in January

Great Hotel
We arrived around 2 o’clock in the afternoon and rooms were ready. We had 2 rooms on 3rd floor with a bath on the balcony and 1 room on the ground floor with terrace this room was not as modern as the rooms upstairs but was still a nice room. I would recommend paying the extra for the refurbished room. Room was big, ac was good ,shower was good , bed was soooo comfy ! Only thing maybe could have a luggage rack as we had suitcases on the floor. We had breakfast which was nice. The hotel is spotless and the grounds and pools are lovely. Great location. Lovely staff. Koh Samui is such a lovely place. We would definitely recommend this hotel 100%. We had a great time.

Great Location
My daughter and I stayed a week at the Am Samui Palace in a Deluxe Pool Access room. The size of the room was good, and it had plenty of space for suitcases, etc. The access to the pool was directly outside the room and down the stairs. It was quite tricky getting out of the pool as the distance from the top of the ladder is a big step and there aren't any rails to grab on to. The other thing was the floor in the room gets wet if the door is left open with the air-conditioning running. The staff were very friendly and the grounds were very well kept. The Am Samui is in a fantastic location and close to shopping, restaurants and beach.

Was in contact with the hotel prior to members of my family staying there and they were so very helpful in arranging a birthday surprise for one of the family members. Incredible attention to service and detail. Highly recommend!
