This fabulous beach resort is located on the sea front of Ao-nang. It is the only hotel in the area with a private access to the beach. The resort, which is beautifully secluded with coconut palm trees, offers guest a tranquil environment in which to relax and disconnect from their daily routine. Krabi town lies approximately 30 minutes away from the complex and Phuket is a 2-hour drive away. A large selection of services to make guests holiday, a truly unique experience.
Spreading around the tropical gardens and virtually unspoiled nature. Each guestroom has been tastefully designed with Thai traditional theme decor, all of which have private bathroom and balcony. All 215 rooms are complete with air-conditoning, a mini bar, tea/coffee making faciliies, a hairdryer and Wi-Fi. Upgrades to Suites, Luxury Rooms and Pool Villas are availabe at a supplement.
Housekeeping people did mess in the room in our absence and they charged us for 1800 bath. Housekeeping people are putting gum on the bed and then they take photos of the same put charge on you.
Very unprofessional people and I would recommend not go for this hotel. Very bad experience.
This was the worse hotel I have ever checked in. We got there at 12pm and I asked if I could upgrade and the staff did not make any offers or efforts. Then once the room was ready we found the facility a bit old and not update but that part is still ok. The elevator smelled like mold and old room. There was not a bed frame but a bunch of “ply wood” put together as a bed frame. Most hotel sheets are white this one was bege looking not so clean. We went on an evening tour and when we got back around 10 pm my daughter showered and went to bed when she pull the sheets a cockroach came out of the sheets, she climbed on the bed and soon after another one started to run around the room. I called front desk who took 10 min to come and the guy looked at me like it was nothing. We immediately packed and left the hotel and never looked back. The hotel management did not contact me to apologize or nothing also they refused my refund.
My family of six adults stayed here for 5 nights in June. I think it's the best choice of hotel location in Ao Nang, because it is easy to walk out to all the shops, restaurants and bars, it's beachfront on the main beach and easy enough to walk to the other main beach and night market. The staff were excellent, the buffet breakfast and egg station was excellent, food was good (although we nearly always ate out for lunch and dinner at other places), the beach front bar was a great place to chill, the two pools were great and the whole place had a nice ambience. Sea kayaks are available for hire (cheaply). Our rooms were standard hotel rooms - reasonable size, comfortable, clean and nice. Looks like they are building a new beachfront restaurant, but this didn't diminish from our stay at all while we were there.
I was there only for one night and spent less time in the room. However because it was raining and it’s a resort amidst lot of trees, the room had a misty feeling and I wasn’t feeling fresh. It had a weird smell. Also the washrooms are a bit old and not maintained well. I wouldn’t go there again for sure but it wasn’t too bad thankfully for a night. I can get better experience in same price because I have to sleep in the room even if the resort surroundings are too beautiful. The breakfast and other facilities may be good but I didn’t avail it so no comments there. The location is great and walkable to the beach, they also have a private beach is what I heard. Plus it’s accessible to the restaurants and market.
We are mid way through our stay at Krabi resort we are very happy with our choice.
The luxury grand rooms are great: set back into the trees, and wonderfully quiet. It is so lovely sitting on the balcony watching the butterflies and birds.
The rooms are spacious and kept clean. There are plenty of towels, both for showering and for the pool/beach.
The beds are very comfortable and spacious. Our 12 year old is on a separate bed which was organised with our booking without a problem.
Ok the hotel it is a little dated in places, and the area around the main swimming pool is a little tired and needs a repaint? but the area is clean, safe and the grounds are well maintained.
The staff have been very polite and welcoming. Everyone smiles and bows. Of course speaking a couple of Thai words will always help.
The food is really nice and it is well priced. You can eat at the swim up bar if you choose to, and can charge things to your room.
I had read some reviews about bugs etc but I havent noticed that being a problem. We do have a little lizard living with us, but he's cool and it is a tropical country! No different to having a house spider.
I would recommend Krabi resort as a lovely base for Ao Nang.
