Ok but could be better
Good location on beach (if you like Kamala -- we didn't) Good grounds and plenty of pools. However, only limited shade (middle pool the best). A bit of renovations going on and middle restaurant and entertainment area closed. Spa closed. Had to move room as aircon moldy and room damp, got very ill. Second room was better but illness lasted a while after which ruined the holiday. Food good, plenty to chose from. Staff great. Massage ladies great.

We spotted this hotel last year travelling around phuket , them booked a holiday here , it didn't disappoint, rooms , food ,staff and everything about this hotel was superb . We will definitely be back

Great Employees!!
Great Hotel, Great Employees and very cool Band that plays every 2 days. The bayside trio from the philipines, bob, shiela and king. They are really nice and interact with everyone and always open for song requests. I love this hotel and especially the employees, theyre so sharp, nice and welcoming. I love to come back to see everyone again!!
Family holiday in Paradise
Had a fantastic 10 days holiday here as a family of five. We had two Grand deluxe pool view rooms which were next to each other, large rooms with a great balcony view and were kept immaculate by friendly housekeeping staff. The swimming pools were also kept clean daily and enjoyed the pool bar with lovely cocktails and snacks served to your lounger.Never any trouble getting a sun lounger which ever time we went down. Surrounding gardens were well kept. We had breakfast every day which was lovely and a great choice to choose from also wonderful views over the beach and sea. Evening drinks at the bar were very reasonable and service was exceptional by Nok who looked after us. The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with the beach on the doorstep and lots of shops, bars and market to the other side which was one of the reasons why we chose this hotel.So glad we did as it did not disappoint us and would certainly return again. I would highly recommend the Sunprime Kamala hotel, many thanks for such a wonderful visit and memories.

Great location
We stayed here for six nights during the low season. We definitely lowered the average age, as most of the guests were retirees.
Our room was spacious, and we had nothing to complain about. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and the room was reasonably well maintained.The breakfast was good, although it could get a bit noisy at times despite it being the low season.
The hotel has four great pools with plenty of sun loungers, so finding a spot was never a problem. We also had a massage at the hotel, which was very good. We had dinner at the hotel one evening—it was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. It was nice to have live music several evenings a week.
The staff were always friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The location is excellent, right on the beach, with many restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away, both along the beach and on the main road.
The gym was well equipped, and the hotel also offered a couple of instructor-led fitness classes every day.
One was that the hotel charged 300 THB per hour for a late check-out. Since it was the low season and the hotel was only about half full, we felt this could have been offered as a complimentary service for a few extra hours.
