Great hotel, amazing staff and very beautiful room. We love the breakfast very much. We'll be back so sure!!!! 100/10
Beware of valuables
While the hotel and facilities are fantastic.....
Do not under any circumstances leave anything of monerety value in your room unattended.
We were saving up our 7/11 stamps under thier current promotion to redeem towards the end of our stay.
They were in a neat pile next to my medication bag and had been for 5 days.
Change of shift and a new person doing the rooms and they suddenly disappear.
Look its only about 100 baht worth of stamps, not going to break the bank!!
But theft is theft and the total lack of concern from management was appalling.
So yes don't leave anything of value out in the open in your room! And then to be told by management that maybe you knocked them onto the floor by mistake and they were cleaned up!!!
Seriously! They were in a neat pile right next to my medication...
No We didn't knock them on the floor!
We still have 5 days to go on this stay and won't even leave a 1 Baht coin on a table because house keeping can't be trusted.

Family Hotel
Returning here, I love everything about this place. Thank you to everyone Centara Karon family for the warm service. Siri, Air, Beer, Sun,Boy, Lek (Spa), at the lobby made us happy for the check-in process . Siri and Air kept smiling even during busy moments—truly commendable. The breakfast received excellent care from TuTa and Zackie. Kids club and pool were highlights; the children they didn't want to go home. Special take care from Nutty ,Kim , Kit and all. I will be here again soon.
Second visit
This is my second stay at Centara Karon and we had a fabulous time both times. The resort has also now been upgraded. The resort is very clean and has three pools all of which are lovely. The food at the restaurant is nice and the staff so friendly. The area it is situated in is busy and there is a beach very close by. Thank you Centara Karon, We will be back again!

Very disappointing service and limited children’s facilities
Very disappointing service and limited children’s facilities
I chose Centara Karon Resort Phuket mainly because of the facilities and activities advertised for children. Unfortunately, several of these facilities were closed for renovation during our stay, despite the hotel being busy with many families in early August. This significantly affected our experience, particularly for my youngest daughter.
The service was also extremely disappointing. When my wife’s arrival date changed, the hotel showed no flexibility regarding our booking. After receiving a second room, I had to ask four times for the extra bed to be removed and for the room to be properly reset. I also had to repeatedly request that the room be cleaned and that items which should have been removed earlier in the week were finally taken away.
I also lost my debit card during the trip and asked whether I could transfer money to the hotel and receive cash in return. Although I understand that hotels may have policies regarding this, the staff made no effort to suggest an alternative solution or assist me.
Overall, the hotel was inflexible, poorly organised and not customer-focused. I would not recommend it, especially to families booking specifically for the children’s activities.
