A Unique Stay at The Slate Phuket
I spent 3 days and 2 nights at The Slate Phuket, and it was much more than just a beautiful resort. The property beautifully combines Phuket’s tin mining heritage with nature, art, and industrial-inspired architecture, creating a truly unique atmosphere.
I stayed in the 65-square-meter Pearl Bed Suite, which features warm wooden details, handcrafted elements, a private balcony overlooking the greenery, and a large bathtub. The resort is spacious, with three swimming pools, a spa, gym, art gallery, Kids Club, and easy access to Nai Yang Beach.
The dining experiences were another highlight. Black Ginger offers refined Thai and local Phuket cuisine in a stunning setting, while Rivet & Rebar brings a stylish industrial atmosphere with Modern Grill and International dishes. Tin Mine is also a great option for breakfast and lunch.
The Slate has been recognized with a MICHELIN One Key, along with several design and hospitality awards.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The combination of history, architecture, nature, food, and thoughtful details makes The Slate feel very different from a typical resort.

An Unforgettable Family Getaway!
We had a truly perfect family stay at The Slate. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and service were exceptional, making us feel completely cared for. The food across the resort was delicious, and the unique atmosphere created an unforgettable backdrop for our vacation. Everything was simply flawless. Highly recommended for families looking for a luxurious and relaxing escape!

Wonderful off season stay
Beautiful hotel
We stayed in a pool suite which was very comfortable , clean and private
Enjoyed the buffet breakfast , daily drink , spa treatment and dinner at rivet that were included in the endless summer package
Every staff member we encountered was polite , smiling and welcoming . Gift at the rivet restaurant and apple at the spa were especially memorable staff members
We will definitely revisit the slate hotel on our next trip to Thailand

Very special designed great hotel
I liked the Slate a LOT. As an artist I loved the special industrial tropic design and art through out the hotel. Great room, great breakfast. Lots of places with natural shade for staying at one of the different pools. They came around with drinking water and refreshing towels. Good app to communicate with front of house. Could tell them the time we wanted the room done and order as much as wanted coffee capsules even decaf and milk for the coffee machine in the room. Plus the hotel takes it up another level when it comes to environment. Own sewage, own wormfarm and beach rubbish collection with guest volunteers. I would have joined but time was unfortunately excactly when we usually have breakfast. Maybe offering one other time slot to help? Other hotels should join in the effort to get beaches cleaned and I think tourists should join in the efforts. I regularly do some mini rubbish collections myself when I am here on holidays. If every tourist would help just a minimum it would make a great difference.

Just Book It..
Fifth or sixth time we have stayed at The Slate. We just keep coming back. Everything about this hotel just delivers, location close to the airport, close to the beach, beautiful grounds, wonderful breakfast and amazing restaurants especially Black Ginger and of course the staff who make this hotel run. Can't wait to come back...
