Excellent hotel, food and staff!
Absolutely outstanding hotel! Wonderful well trained staff. Food is excellent! Customer service of the highest level, and I have visited many excellent hotels throughout China, Sri Lanka, USA, Egypt and Europe. I would definitely stay here again. We are currently booked in for 16 nights in room 2436, but sadly, only six days to go. Will look to book another stay here for next year as soon as I arrive back home. Thank you sooooo much Sheraton Grand Da Nang. Special mentions to Quan (concierge) and Binh (pool) We have had an amazing stay here!
Quiet, Beautiful Beach and Pool
We spent five days at this resort on a longer vacation of Vietnam. This resort a little out of the center of Danang, and that made it wonderful! The resort is very peaceful. The pool was one of the best we have ever had. Because it is long, it never feels crowded. The beach was often empty. Service was great, rooms spotlessly clean. Lots to do for kids--shallow pool, water park area, little boats to paddle in the pool, indoor play area. Great stay. In July, we had perfect weather.

Terrible experience for families – Avoid this property (Room 1615)
My stay in Room 1615 at the Sheraton Grand Resort and Spa was a complete nightmare and easily one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. For a property that positions itself as a "Grand" resort, the service and facilities were worse than what I would expect from a roadside motel. The Infant Accommodation We requested a crib for our infant, only to be provided with what I can only describe as a "jail-like" metal contraption. It lacked any proper bedding, rendering it completely unsafe and unsuitable for a baby to sleep in. It was shocking to see such disregard for infant comfort and safety at a property of this caliber. The Temperature Control Issue To make matters worse, the room was kept at a freezing temperature that posed a genuine health risk to our child. While staff did eventually come to inspect the AC unit, their assurances that it would warm up were empty promises; the temperature never adjusted. Because of this negligence, my child now has a sore throat and is sneezing. We were forced to keep the balcony door open just to manage the temperature, which is frankly unacceptable for a "luxury" establishment. Bottom Line You could have a similar (or better) experience at a Dollar Inn for a fraction of the cost. Do not be fooled by the "Sheraton Grand" branding—it does not translate to quality or service. I would strongly urge any family with children to look elsewhere, as this property is clearly not equipped to handle families or resolve basic guest comfort issues. Avoid at all costs.
