Entry requirements differ by country. The Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) issues country specific travel advice including Health, Visa and Vaccination requirements.

If you have a UK passport, you will need to ensure that your passport has an expiry date of at least 6 months after the day you arrive as well as having at least 2 blank pages. If your passport does not fulfil the entry requirements, then you will be refused boarding onto your flight and Mercury Holidays will not be responsible for your lost holiday.
There is a tourist levy to pay either on arrival at Bali Airport (at designated payment counters) or online before you travel. If you would like to pay online then please visit https://lovebali.baliprov.go.id. They levy is 150,000 Indonesian Rupiah per person (approximately £8).
A visa is required to enter Bali. You can either purchase your visa on arrival at the airport or applied for online before you travel. If you would like to apply for your visa online, please visit Indonesian immigration website where you can apply and pay online to obtain your visa.
Alternatively you can contact The Travel Visa Company who will be able to arrange your visa on your behalf. Please either visit The Travel Visa Company or call 01270 250 590 and quote Mercury Holidays.
All international travellers to Indonesia, must complete the ‘All Indonesia Arrival Card’ online before departure. This should be done between three days before your flight and the day of departure from your home country. To complete the form, visit https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id. There is no fee, and this form is not a visa, so you must still obtain the correct visa separately. Once submitted, you’ll receive a QR code, which you should either print or save on your device. Upon arrival in Indonesia, present this QR code along with your passport at immigration.
Beware of visa scams from fake visa agents. Use the Indonesian Immigration self-service portal.
Visitors who overstay without the proper permissions can be held in detention or refused permission to leave the country until a fine of 1 million Indonesian rupiah per day is paid.
Immigration officials in Indonesia may ask you for proof of onward travel (such as a return or onward air ticket). Make all reservations before leaving for Indonesia.
Check the vaccinations and vaccination certificates you may need on TravelHealthPro at least 8 weeks before your trip.
If you stay in private accommodation in Indonesia (not a hotel), you must register your presence with the local police at the nearest police station. You could be fined 5 million Indonesia rupiah if you do not register. If you stay in a hotel, you will be registered automatically.
