Nightmare from Road noise every single night between Midnight and 2am , the Government should put a ban on these Scooters that are fitted with the noisy exhausts , it was as if they were in the actual bedroom with us , and we were on the 5th floor , god help the guests on lower floors next to the road . Saturday nights were worse as it continued to around 5am . Also the noise from fireworks going off regularly throughout the evening/ night was awful too , don’t get me wrong fireworks are wonderful but there’s is a limit ! The Hotel and Staff were excellent, no complaints whatsoever , drinks a bit pricey but I suppose that’s to be expected being a 5 star hotel . The Hotel is in need of Double or Triple glazing and we did pass our thoughts on to management, many other guests experienced the same issues . The Food and cleanliness of the hotel was spot on . Our whole experience was ruined with the noise issue as we were totally shattered as by the time we got to sleep it was nearly time to get up . I had been ill for a few days , so the lack of sleep didn’t help . I think we only made it down for breakfast 3 out of the 10 days due to sleep deprivation. Don’t let the noise issues put you off , just make sure you don’t book a Sea View Room .
